The lodge was amazing! Val and Steve have thought of entering you might need, lots of helpful information in the lodge too as well as a very comfortable and clean lodge. Hot tub was kept clean and maintained amazingly well. Highly recommend 51 Valley Lodges
Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away, the property was well equipped, very clean and comfortable in a great location. The park it was situated on was also very quiet which made for a very relaxing break.
Stephen
51 Valley Lodges exceeded our expectations. The hosts Val & Steve went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful holiday. The lodge itself was exceptionally clean and well looked after, A fully equipped kitchen provided us with everything we needed. The beds were super comfy.
Stacey

Honestly the pictures shown do not do this property justice, the whole place is even more stunning than shown! ! Val and Steve were on hand to help with any problems you had I had an issue with the shower in the morning, I messaged Val and she offered to get Steve to come and have a look at it. Turns out I just hadnt turned it on properly. Their hosting skills were absolutely fantastic. The lodge was impeccably well put together, tidy and clean. The kitchen was fully functional and had the options of a washing machine and a dishwasher which made the stay a lot easier. Val and Steve went the extra mile and put balloons and banners up as they knew we were attending for my daughters 12th birthday, they even left a lovely card for her. She really was over the moon. The hot tub was heated and ready for us on arrival. There was lots of information sheets, DVDs and the choice to book swimming which meant we had lots to do!! I have rated them on here as high as I could but they really do deserve the highest ratings!! We will definitely be booking to come back again in the future. I would also like to add that where the lodge is located it is very tranquil and quiet. I loved waking up in the mornings and seeing the view from the balcony when I went upstairs in the morning.

Arrived for family Christmas break, lodge was beautifully presented with trees and decorations. Lovely gift of chocolates, biscuits and wine, loved the topsyturvey living gave us super views from balcony. Fully equipped kitchen, which made it so easy to prepare Christmas dinner, dishwasher, freezer, fridge and washer. We did not use the hot tub or other onsite facilities other than the pubrestaurant which was welcoming. and friendly. Plenty of amenities in nearby surrounding areas.
Andrea
We loved the lodge very much. . When we arrived it was clean and we had been left wine chocolates strawberries milk and treats for the dogs.. the hot tub was a massive hit took away a lot of stress.. The only problems we had was the bins on the site had not been emptied at all the whole time we had been their also they are too far away.. We had a metal bin on the corner for the dog waste and it was overflowing Couldnt fault Val as she made us feel very welcome and kept us updated on things that had happened.. liked the storm closed the pool for a day
Caroline

Had a great stay at No 51 and a perfect little home from home of us and our 2 small dogs. Very clean and tidy with good furnishings. Spent some time working while here and wifi was excellent. Hot tub always a nice to have and, due to the location of the lodge at the bottom of the site, so quiet for a morning dip with nothing but birdsong and the sunrise to enjoy. Most definitely would recommend and stay again.
Thanks to Val for a fantastic time in your lodge. The treats you left us for the start of our holiday were very well received, the hot tub is great anytime of the day, very clean and comfortable. Definitely book this lodge you will not be disappointed
Lovely property in a beautiful area. We're missing the hot tub!
51 Valley lodge and Val the owner were amazing. The unit had everything we needed and was just what we wanted. Val left a lovely welcome pack and was always available to answer questions. Gunnislake and the surrounding areas are lovely.
The lodge was very comfortable and spacious. It had everything we needed in the kitchen where there were quality items of kitchen equipment. A frying pan that did not stick and knives that were sharp enough to use, not always the case in rental, properties. The owner left us a lovely welcome pack and was most helpful, particularly when we got lost finding the holiday park, sat nav took us close but down narrow country lanes that ended nowhere in particular. Only downside, the pub on site was fully booked when we arrived and not able to provide take away either.
A lovely relaxing week, enjoying the hot tub and exploring the area. The lodge is well equipped, and we were delighted to find that it also had a washing machine, dishwasher and freezer, which isnt currently included in the listing. The Sunday Carvery at the onsite pub was excellent value for money. The owners Val and Steve were really helpful and responded quickly to a couple of requests we had. We would definitely return and recommend to friends and family.
Michael
