Emma
Really loved the place, spot on location with all essentials. The pool and hot tub were a big hit. Can’t wait to come back sometime!
Alex
We had a fantastic time! The place is stunning, with a really spacious layout that instantly wowed us. The electric aga oven in the kitchen made it super cosy. Everything was well looked after, with thoughtful touches throughout. The pool and jacuzzi were lovely extras. Big thanks to Mike & Mandy for their warm welcome-truly a great stay!
Emma
We had such a lovely time here! The place was spotlessand Mike was super helpful throughout our stay. The Aga oven and cosy kitchen made cooking feel special. Our dog loved it tooand we were all a bit sad to leave. The pool and jacuzzi were a real highlight, so much fun! The garden is gorgeous, but just a heads up if you've got little ones - the stream runs alongside the lower part of the garden and isn't gated. We’d definitely come back!
James
The house was fantastic, much better than the photos suggest. The pool was a real highlight, used daily-definitely recommend it!
Emma
Honestly, we had a brilliant stay! The farmhouse was truly lovely, much nicer than we’d imaginedand the peaceful setting made it feel like a real escape. We loved the walk from Heddon Valley to Heddon Mouth - absolutely breathtaking! The pool and hot tub were perfect for relaxing after a day out. Mike was super friendly and made us feel really welcome. Definitely planning to come back soon!
Sam
The location is stunningand the place itself is spotless and super comfy. Beds are massive! We had such a chilled weekand just strolling down the drive is a treat.
Oliver
We had a lovely stay at this holiday home, set in such a gorgeous spot. The place is super well-maintained, spaciousand really comfortable - we felt right at home. It’s tucked away on a half-mile private track next to a rushing stream, which was so peaceful. The directions were clear, though we did miss the turn initially because the SatNav led us astray, so a proper sign would help. The pool and jacuzzi were definitely a highlight, adding a touch of luxury to our break. Great value overall!
Emma
We really enjoyed our stay! The house was spotlessly kept and in a fantastic spot, perfect for walks right from the door-especially to Parracombe with its charming shop and pub. The pool was a lovely surprise, great to have direct access from the house. We’d definitely come back!
James
We’ve stayed at Heddon Valley Farmhouse twice now and honestly, it’s such a lovely spot. The views are breathtaking, perfect for unwinding. It’s ideal if you want peace and quiet but with easy access to gorgeous beaches and moorlands for walks. We’ll be back for sure! Highly recommend for anyone needing a break.
James
The photos definitely don’t show how lovely the farmhouse really is. It’s in a great spot, well furnishedand has everything you need for a nice break. The swimming pool was such a bonus! We’d recommend Heddon Valley Mill to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.
Emily Clarke
We had a fantastic time at Heddon Valley. The house is gorgeous with top-notch finishesand there’s plenty of room to chill or hang out. The pool and jacuzzi are real highlights and accessible from the lounge, which is handy. The setting’s lovely, right by a stream you can see from the bedrooms. It’s quite secluded, but still close enough to explore nearby spots. Loved it!
Emma Clarke
We loved the house and its lovely spot, but the heating and internet let us down a bit. The internet speed of 0.97 Mbps was frustrating, especially for streaming or work. Still, the pool and Jacuzzi were fantastic, especially when the weather was gloomy. Hopefully, these issues get sorted soon because we’d happily return!
James
Honestly, this place is a real gem. The setting is absolutely breathtakingand we had such a relaxing time. It’s super peaceful and private, which we loved. The caretaker was really friendly and helpful too. We’re already planning to come back next year. The facilities are top-notch - the pool and hot tub were perfect after long walks with the dogs. The cosy fireplace in the evenings was a lovely touch. Definitely recommend this spot!
Lucy
We had a lovely stay here, perfect for a quiet, relaxing break. The house was spotless and beautifully decorated, making us feel right at home. The beds were super comfyand we loved the pool - it was great for a bit of exercise without stepping outside, especially with the rain pouring down. Sadly, the weather didn’t allow us to enjoy many of the walks nearby, but it’s a good spot to explore the coast. The drive is quite narrow and winding, so watch out for the speed bumps!
Oliver
We had an amazing stay at the cottage! It truly had everything we needed for a memorable family trip. The kids couldn’t get enough of the pool, swimming at least twice a day. Mike and Mandy were really helpful and sorted out any minor issues straight away. The area around is so beautiful, with lovely walks everywhere. Our dog loved exploring all the different paths too. The local pub was only a short walk away and perfect for relaxing evenings. We’d definitely come back!
Emma Clarke
We had such a lovely stay! The house is beautifully finished and feels really luxurious. The pool was exclusive to us, which was a big plus - we couldn’t have asked for more. The welcome pack with scones, jamand cream was a nice touch after a long journey. The area is stunning, with a serene garden that’s perfect for relaxing. We stayed with our two grown-up sons and their partnersand everyone agreed it was just what we needed. Definitely recommending it to friends looking for peace and comfort!
Emily
We loved the peaceful spot and the gorgeous house. It’s a fantastic getaway, though we did drop a star because the Aga was a tad tricky to use and the pizza oven was out of commission-so we had to make do with homemade pizzas in the Aga instead. We also found a cute slow worm in the garden and watched a bird of prey circling overhead, which kept us on our toes. Definitely a holiday to remember!
Emma
Really enjoyed our stay, the house and surroundings are stunning!
Emma
The moment we stepped in, we knew this place was special. The attention to detail in the furnishings and facilities is spot on. We felt totally relaxed, like we didn’t want to leave! Honestly, it’s a gem. Can’t wait to come back and enjoy it all over again. Absolutely loving it!
James
The house was stunningand we truly enjoyed our time there! Mandy, the housekeeper, was lovely and went out of her way to help us.
