Rosewarrick Cottage Reviews

Michelle
Steve met us when we arrived and showed us around the cottage and gave us lots of recommendations of places to visit. Lots of lovely surprises, a cream tea, cider, toiletries waiting for us in the cottage. The cottage is perfect, very cosy and immaculate. The hot tub was excellent! Perfectly situated to travel to anywhere in Cornwall. We have already booked to stay again next year.
Stacey
Steve & Jackie were so welcoming and lovely! We were welcomed with some local cider and scones which was a very thoughtful touch! Location was peaceful and quiet but still close enough to local amenities. Got some great recommendations from Steve on where to visit. Cracking value for money and we can't wait to visit again! Thanks for a wonderful stay! Stacey & Tom

We enjoyed our stay at this amazing accommodation. Everything was as listed, very comfortable and perfect holiday home. Steve went through everything with us, with recommendations for places to eat. Very friendly host and cornish cider was a lovely surprise as was the cream tea. The location for touring Cornwall is perfect, so many things to see and do, we will definitely be going back. Thankyou.
Excellent little cottage, well looked after. Excellent location to explore north and south coast. Loved the hot tub. Definitely booking again for our next trip to Cornwall!

Property in a good central location to explore Cornwall but is far enough away from main road to enjoy the peace and tranquility. Owners very friendly, nothing too much trouble and their dogs adorable.
The Cottage was perfect for us, quiet rural location, spacious and the hot tub & garden were a great extra bonus for a relaxing stay. Steve greeted us and ran through all of the necessary instructions, including where the local pubs restaurants & shops are. The cottage is clean & fresh. The Cream tea provided was a very kind gesture and delicious. Thank you. The location made it convenient to get to the beach and other sightseeing locations, Newquay being our favourite. We plan to visit again soon.
This is our second time staying at rosewarrick barn. The owners greeted us with a warm welcome, a welcome pack, including some chilled cider was waiting for us inside, also a cream tea. The barn is a perfect sanctuary, with everything you need. Nothing is too too much to ask of the owners, Jackie and Steve. The location is ideal for getting about, the scenery outstanding, just perfect We hope to return next year....a hat trick. All the best, Terry and Amanda 572024 to 122024
My wife and I have just spent a thoroughly enjoyable fortnight's stay at the cottage. On arrival we found the property extremely well prepared with welcoming gifts of bottles of Cornish cider, chocolates and cream teas. On the second day, Steve the owner, came to check that we were settled in okay and that everything was to our satisfaction. I am 81 years old and use crutches and I mentioned that I had difficulty with the one step leading to the front door. On returning from our day out I found that he had installed a small ramp to make it easier for me. I was amazed at such a level of consideration. It made all the difference to our holiday and showed a level of service far beyond what I would normally expect. The Hot Tub was discreetly enclosed for privacy and my wife enjoyed a relaxing soak each morning. At the end of the first week Steve asked if we would like the cleaner to come in and change the bedlinen and towels. I thought that this was a very nice touch as at other places we have spent a fortnight in we have had to make do with the original towels and bedlinen for the entire stay. The location of the cottage makes access to both the North and South coasts easy. If you fancy dining out the local pubrestaurant Lanivet Inn is one and a half miles away and serves excellent food at reasonable prices. We dined there four times during our stay. In summary I would highly recommend Rosewarrick Cottage as the perfect hideaway for a relaxing holiday.
We enjoyed a wonderful week at Rosewarrick Cottage. Steve was very welcoming and provided us with all the information we needed on arrival. The studio was very comfortable and fully equipped with everything necessary and the patio and hot tub well maintained and private perfect for relaxing on an evening. The location was ideal for access to the A30 and we managed to fit in so many day trips with not too much time spent driving. We would love to stay again if we come back to Cornwall.
This is a great place to stay, central location with easy access to many lovely places. The accommodation was ideal for a relaxing break, great sitting in the hot tub looking up at the stars. Steve was very friendly and helpful We normally try to stay in different places but this one makes it onto our places to revisit
Great property in ideal location. Hosts were very accommodating and friendly. The issues we had were dealt with quickly, although not fully fixed not the fault of the owners. Would suggest that a clothes airer and another bedside table would be welcome additions. Hot tub was an excellent addition and enjoyable even during a storm!
We throughly enjoyed our stay, very comfortable accommodation and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. Very friendly and helpful hosts, we have no hesitation in recommending this cottage.
What a lovely cottage in a beautiful setting, we were not disappointed everything was provided, if you are looking to get away for a relaxing time looking up at the stars in a hot tub, then pack your bags, we would highly recommend Rosewarrick cottage.
Annette
We loved our stay here, the cottage was very well equipped, furnished to a high standard, very comfortable bed, very clean, loved the robes and hot tub! We were made to feel very welcome, a great place to relax and discover this beautiful area, so many places to see, we just may need to come back to explore more!
We had an excellent time. It was the perfect relaxing break we needed. Situated in a part of Cornwall that allowed us to easily drive to multiple places across the week to explore. We will definitely be back!
We loved it so much we have booked again for next year. Our stay was very comfortable the kitchen is very well equipped, the property is in the perfect place to visit most places in Cornwall The owner is very friendly and will be happy to help with any information you need about the location and places to visit, and the hot tub and garden are lovely. See you again next year Terry & Amanda
Very comfortable and great location for our needs. Steve was very helpful with his local knowledge. Really enjoyed the afternoon tea and cider left as a welcome gift
Jackie and Steve have got a gem here quiet, comfortable, well'provided', convenient for many Cornish attractions esp Eden Project, and great value for money. if we were ever to get down to Cornwall again, we would check the availability of Higher Rosewarrick barn before all others!
Richard
We had a very comfortable stay at cottage which is centrally located and easy to find. The place is a perfect hideaway. The hot tub was a real treat after a long day. We highly recommend the cottage and would love to come back.
We had a lovely stay this week! The room was beautiful, comfortable and it was home from home which was lovely! Steve was very helpful with giving us advice on where are the best places to go and telling us to try a Cruffin which we very very enjoyed we will definitely be booking here again in the future and recommending it to family and friends! Thank you again Ellie and Aiden
Absolutely perfect, no faults from the moment I arrived. Greeted by Steve who was so friendly and chatty and showed me round everything and how everything worked. Reassured me that him and Jackie were on hand if there was any problems or questions but I always felt like I had my own space and privacy. Most beautiful exterior and interior, so homely. It had everything you could ask for in terms of cooking equipment so I was able to make my own meals when I wanted. Hot tub was a massive bonus and was hot all the time. Lucky enough to have clear skies and look at all the stars. Great recommendations from Steve on where to visit, takeaways and things to do. Cannot fault anything and I will definitely be retuning when I visit Cornwall again. Thank you so much to both of you.
Lauren
Loved our stay! ! This was our honeymoon as we had got married on 3rd April. Loved the hot tub and the bed was so comfy. Only downside was the milksemi skimmed milk that was in the basket when you arrived was lumpy but apart from that we loved our stay!! Would deff come back!!

Had a lovely week. Great place to stay and relax.
Had a very good break thanks
Excellent place to stay, very friendly welcome, Extremely clean, Great location. Will be staying again. Can't recommend highly enough.
We had a really lovely stay at Rosewarrick Cottage mid September. The cottage was cosy and warm, and the hot tub was enjoyed, even in the rain! The bed was the comfiest Ive ever slept in, and we meant to ask what the quilt was filled with as this was snugglier than we have at home. It is ideally situated to visit north and south Cornwall and we let the weather decide which direction we went. Our hosts were lovely, and their dogs were adorable. Thanks for having us!
Very comfortable stay , however I feel the need for some kind of shelter outside ... Very comfortable stay , however I feel the need for some kind of shelter outside when raining as it did when we were there warm enough to sit outside but no shelter from rain
Deborah
Lovely cottage, everything we needed. So nice to come back after a busy day and chill in the hot tub. Hosts jackie and Steve are very friendly, nice to have a little chat when we saw them and their bullies are adorable. Would definitely recommend and if we planned to go that way would book again.

Top quality accommodation with luxury added extras, we would recommend to family & friends as we throughly enjoyed our stay. Hosts Jackie & Steve were very welcoming & friendly & after a few days of walking & cycling it was nice to relax in the hot tub.
We had a great stay. Everything was as listed. Owners were very friendly and welcoming.
We spent 4 days at the cottage for our honeymoon and we couldn't of asked for more! Beautiful setting, lovely hosts and quality facilities! Would recommend to any couple looking for some quality time away. Everything is within driving distance but we found ourselves wanting to stay at the cottage more than anything! We will definitely be returning. Thank you Jackie and Steve and pups x
We had great time on our stay amazing place to come for a break. You have your own privacy and the owner Jackie is very welcoming and friendly. It was lovely to have a welcoming pack of goodies was cute. The gowns, towels and mini toiletries felt like a spa holiday. There was alot of booklets of Cornwall to have an idea what's there very informative and the she messaged us to let us know about things. We wanted to see. The sad thing was the weather wasn't 100 but we made the most of our time.
We were looking for a short getaway but wanted somewhere that we could switch off from the outside world and just enjoy some relaxation and we are so glad that we found this place. Nestled in the beautiful Cornish countryside is this stunning cottage which upon arrival we were met by the owner who made us feel very welcome and guided us through the property. The property itself really has been well thought out with everything you could possible need for your stay. Hot tub was also fantastic which felt nicer having the privacy with fencing surrounding it Its ideally located to easily get to other locations, we popped down to Falmouth, across to Padstow and to Tintangel Castle and all were within an hours drive. All in all we would absolutely recommend this place to anyone! Thank you Jackie and Steve for making us feel so welcome.
Fabulous cottage ,very well presented and spotless. Situated in a perfect location, very peaceful and the hot tub a bonus. The owners Jackie and Steve were very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area however their gorgeous three dogs stole the show. We would definitely recommend this cottage and we will definitely return.
