Lowena Reviews

The site itself is basic but as advertised. Everything you need to survive is nearby and travelling further afield takes you to lots of interesting places due to the parks central location. The hot tub was lovely but, like a few things, could have done with a little TLC. Jets fixing, cooker light replacing, sticky front door but it's all minor stuff. For what and where we needed it to be we were very happy. If you are going with kids get a decent plan in place as you'll need to find them things to do but it's all in range.
We stayed in Lowena for our honeymoon familymoon with our children and it was lovely! We are normally campers, so staying in a little lodge was a bit of luxury for us, especially with the hot tub! We loved all the personal touches, cute little beach decorations around the cabin, and the sofa was very comfortable. All the bedding, plates, towels, etc provided were clean and really good quality items and we were supplied with everything we needed. We were thrilled. St Day Tourist Park was a quiet park in a very lovely little village. We will definitely be back again in future
Fantastic week at St Day Park, really quiet and facility we stayed in was first class. Certainly recommend. Site was clean and tidy and was easy access to many of Cornwalls tourist sites.
We had a wonderful stay. The lodge was immaculate and the personal touches such as flowers etc were the icing on the cake. The hot tub was inspected every day too. 'Lowena' was perfect for our Cornish adventures.
Enjoyed a quiet holiday park. Hot tub great. Very happy to book there again.

We were given an upgrade to a larger, newer lodge called 'Acorn' and it was great! The welcome chocolates and prosecco was a lovely touch. The hot tub was fantastic to lounge in at the end of the day and was cleaned and maintained regularly. Friendly and helpful site managers. It's a good base for exploring that part of Cornwall.
Stuart
Nathan was very supportive and made sure our hot tub was cleaned everyday. Friendly and supportive staff, quiet and clean camp site well located.
Rachael
Great holiday home, perfectly located for exploring Cornwall.
Magdalena
Awesome place to stay with kids, playground on the camping site. Very clean and well organised. We have been given a bottle of wine on arrival and also we were provided with basic kitchen cleaning stuff. Hot tub was also amazing, it was checked daily by the staff to make sure all was fine. Situated it very good location, close to shops and up to 45 minutes drive for different places to visit, only 10 minutes drive from the closest beach. Very friendly staff and always helpful.
Very clean and tidy well situated to cover travelling around Cornwall, staff on site very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Hot tub is well maintained throughout and is a bonus, made the evenings very relaxing.
We had a lovely stay, staff were so friendly too!
The location of the property is excellent close to loads of different beaches and attractions, most within a 30 min drive. The lodge is well equipped and the park itself is clean and tidy, the hot tub is a great extra which the kids loved.Milk in the fridge and a bottle of wine on arrival a nice touch!

Beatriz
Lovely little cottage for a getaway for couples! Lovely hot tub and very quiet and peaceful location. Would definitely come back
Excellent accommodation, and facilities on site that are needed, minimal staff but site is nice, clean, well presented and maintained. Not as child friendly in terms of entertainment etc as other sites but great for couples. Great location, no more than an hour drive from most tourist spots, some being as little as 10 mins away. Would definitely go back in the future.
Richard
St day is an excellent holiday destination, very clean and well situated

Caroline
Great holiday. Park is very quiet and well looked after. Location is fairly central for everything we wanted to do. Easy access to the A30. Lodge had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Village is an easy walk.
Connor
The stay we had was very nice and cosy, if the shower didnt leak through the screan and the radiators was in good working order, also the WiFi was better and stronger it would have been 1010.
William
It was lovely couldn't fault anything at all. Someone came round every day to ensure the hot tub was cleaned thoroughly such an enjoyable holiday.
Elenni
Loved our lodge which was pretty much central to lots of different days outactivities.
We had a lovely relaxed holiday, the lodge was perfect for two. The hot tub was great and a good extra. We weee disappointed that there wasnt a barbecue there for us to use, as we do like to spend time outdoors, instead we had to cook it and bring it outside. The people at st days site weee lovely and friendly
