Superb location and fantastic views and a nice comfortable house to stay in.

Although the property was cold we had an enjoyable stay, this was helped by the amazing views across St. Ives. There is a log burning fire and whilst we did use this for a couple of days, due to one of us suffering with asthma this could not continue. The position of the property is ideal for walking either to St. Ives, we did find a short cut whicRead moreh helped with the steep incline, or Carbis Bay. There was noise coming from the single garage. Hide

Kimberley
What a find! We enjoyed a wonderful stay in this lovely home. It was equipped to the highest standard & all our needs were met. The location was outstanding, away from the crowds but just short walk through bluebell woods to beach. Fantastic Views from living areas/bedrooms/ terrace . Special thanks to cleaners (mother & daughter duo) who presented the house to such a high standard. The presentation when we arrived was first class. We enjoyed the jacuzzi & amazing choice of walks nearby.
Lynne
Excellent location, and really enjoyed the holiday. In fact booked it again for next year.
Jane

Carrack Vean is, without a doubt, the best holiday let we have ever had the pleasure of staying at. It is hard not to feel emotional about it as I type this review! The house is so beautiful inside and out and the panoramic views of St Ives and beyond are breathtaking, the pictures really don't do it justice. The property was well stocked and lots of little touches around made it feel so homely. Hot tub & log burners were both fantastic for a winter break. We will definitely be back!
Sophie
Im not ashamed to say I felt quite emotional leaving this wonderful place! Not only is it clearly very beautiful and perfectly presented, its got a very special feel to it. The views are just spectacular, you dont even have to leave your bed for these. Its everything you could wish for, and St Ives is within a few minutes walk down a lovely path, a cross the beach. Ive been fortunate to have travelled to some incredible places, and this one is easily in my top 5. Thank you.
Stephen
We loved the situation of the property. Possibly someone needs to keep a check on the people or person responcible for the general upkeep and presentation. Garden lovely but shabby. Check it out. Pay a surprise visit. Otherwise very nice place to stay.
Laura
What a perfect little gem of a property. Fully stocked kitchen with high end equipment, beds very comfy. We had an enjoyable, very comfortable stay and would certainly return. Beach is nearby, approx 15 minute walk down very steep path but the bus stop not too far takes you down into town if hills are challenging. The cream tea on arrival was a lov ely unexpected touch. Those views!!! Stunning!!!
Mandip
We were totally blown away with this property. .. The property was extremely clean and the owners had provided anything you could possibly want, a very well stocked kitchen, beautiful bathrobes and fluffy towels. The location was absolutely fabulous. We enjoyed many evenings enjoying the view of the sea from the hot tub. Walking down to the beach c ouldn't be easier once you discover the shortcuts. We loved it and would highly recommend it!
Richard
The accommodation is really good and well laid out. The hot tub is the best we have ever had. Views out really marvellous. Location great and just a short walk into St Ives with good restaurants. Driving and parking in St Ives not good so ideal location for the short walk. Great walks along the coastal paths. Lots to do and see in St Ives.
Gina
For a week rental it would be nicer to have spare towels, although I guess a guest could wash and dry in machines provided but when on holiday its nice not to do chores. Other than this the house / location and stay is just perfect. I could happily have stayed longer. It is the best rental we have ever used.
