Mill House, Boskensoe Barns

Thanks again for a great cottage and superb service. Everything was 100 top drawer and it was very easy for us to have a great time. We are already discussing next year!

Mill House is perfect I every way! Beautifully presented rooms, spacious and with everything you may need for your holiday. Beds are very comfortable and the hot tub great at end of a day of walking it now has a gazebo over it which was great on the kne night it rained! Owners could not do enough, texting during week to see if there was anything we needed. We were able to see the other properties on the site too, all to same excellent standard. Would highly recommend Boskensoe Barns!

The pictures did not do the property justice. The level of detail and facilities were exactly what we wanted and to a very high spec. We would definitely return and recommend the property to anyone.

This was perfect for a three generations family holiday. The accommodation is spacious, very comfortable and wellequipped. The hot tub and gas bbq were a welcomed extra. The small, enclosed garden area was great with young children. The owner is very approachable and helpful. All in all, we can thoroughly recommend. Thank you to our hosts!

Over many years of renting holiday properties this is the best we have ever had. Everything was of a high standard. Our weather was very poor all week and the holiday was saved by the quality of this property. The same can also be said of the Mill House, which we also rented.

We loved The Barn. Its was the best equipped holiday home we have ever rented, and by far the most luxurious and comfortable. The design decor and furnishings had been well thought out and we had a great stay marred only by the smoke alarms going off for the last 2 nights, which disturbed us all. Especially as the last night they went off twice. Fault on the system. I emailed Bridget at Boskensoe barns twice but have had no feedback. I hope this has been picked up for the next occupants.

Another visit and we weren't disappointed. Really clean, comfortable and with all the amenities.

Mill house is a beautifully converted barn, finished to the highest standard. The welcome pack was full of delicious local produce. Lots to do within a short drive. Will definitely be returning.

This is by far the best self catering accommodation we have ever stayed in in the UK and will definitely be booking again. We were so impressed by the comfort of the beds that we came home and ordered the same mattress, pillows and duvet that we had during our stay.

The Barn was beautiful, very spacious and finished to such a high standard. We loved the welcome pack with local goodies and the log burner was brilliant. Bridgit was so welcoming and helpful, and we are already thinking about a return trip.

This was our second stay at the property & we wouldnt hesitate to recommend it. A Beautiful old barn, renovated to an extremely high standard with quality fixtures & fittings. Comfy beds, large modern bathrooms, spotlessly clean overall. Lovely private garden space, excellent well looked after hot tub, great for star gazing ! Thankyou for the generous welcome pack, we loved the Cornish produce and your local village deli store. The use of the electric charge point was also a massive plus. The only minus is the dog owners in other cottages that still insist on letting their dogs 'roam' on the shared area, despite there now being a dedicated dog exercise area. It meant we couldn't let our young family use that same common area.

Mill House, in Boskensoe Barns, is a superb property in an ideal location for exploring the Helford Area and beyond both N & S coasts. It is well equipped, spotlessly clean and the hot tub is a great addition. We met the owners who are lovely people and helped us to understand how the oven worked!!! Would not hesitate to recommend, or return should we be in that area again. A truly 5 star property.

This was our second visit to the Mill House and whilst its an incredibly long journey for us, we just cannot find anywhere else that compares. The accommodation has maintained the high standards which we found last year it is incredibly clean, comfortable and welcoming. Bridget is always at hand if anything is needed and will go out of her way to make sure your stay is a great one. Weve found such a variety of places to visit, making the village a great location. The children love the hot tub but just have one request for mini dressing gowns!!

It is a beautiful holiday home, the owners have thought of everything. Excellent facilities for all the family to enjoy. Great location as well lots of beaches nearby.

Unfortunately we didnt get to meet our lovely hosts due to covid isolation but all communication was excellent and helpful. We could not speak highly enough about the property and the whole experience. It is rare for us to genuinely want to return to a holiday home as we like to vary our holidays but the whole family missed the house when we left. Mill House had everything and the attention to details was fantastic. We felt very privileged to have spent a week there. The area surrounding the property was very beautiful and peaceful, with lots to do for our teenage girls.

A group of us friends stayed at Mill House last week and it was such a fantastic holiday! The accommodation exceeded our expectations! It was clean, luxurious, every need was catered for. We didn't have to use some of the things we brought because it was already available. And the hot tub was just the icing on the cake. The owners also kept in touch which was so helpful. We would certainly return and definitely recommend staying here. A great way to spend a long weekend in Cornwall. You won't be disappointed....

We had an amazing weekend away. Mill House was beautiful decorated and clean. My only issue was that the hot tub was not hot enough on our first night but it didnt spoil our time away.

As four former female schoolfriends now of a certain age we stayed in Mill House at the beginning of December for a pretend Christmas. The accommodation exceeded our expectations. The house is well equipped and set to a high standard. Even during Covid times there wasn't anything more we needed than was provided. The open plan layout upstairs meant that even if one of us was cooking, we didn't feel on our own and could easily join in with the others. We only met the owner, Bridget, once due to Covid restrictions, but felt that if we had any issues we could easily have spoken to her she lives opposite Mill House and it would have been dealt with. Bridget even, with our permission, entered the property to put up a wonderful Christmas tree whilst we were out one day which made the week even more special. Mill House is in a gated complex with three other properties and is well situated, being just outside Falmouth, for easy access to most of the south west end of Cornwall for getting out and about. The village has a pub serving homely food, an excellent general shop and post office, a coffee house and a lovely gift shop. All within easy walking distance. There is adequate car parking on the complex and is away from outside the properties to give extra privacy to guests. The car parking area has an electric vehicle charging point which was a huge relief to one of our party. The weather was slightly against us for our week, but we did manage one early evening to make use of the hot tub to watch the sun go down! I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Mill House and as such we have booked to go back again in December this year!

This is an absolutely fabulous property. It was perfect for myself and husband to have a birthday week with my children and their partners. It was very comfortable and had loads of crockery and cutlery to use in the dishwasher definitely a 5 star property. The location was also perfect. We used the cafe and the Oystercatcher shop in the village, went down to Trebah Gardens and over to St Mawes. It was all in all a fantastic holiday in an amazing property. I would fully recommend it.

This property has a real wow factor and you feel like your living in a little bit of luxury for a week. Its a high spec, well looked after, spotlessly clean barn conversion, which our whole family loved especially the private outside space & hot tub. Full of little extras such as toiletries, robes & a generous welcome pack that make all the difference. Plus helpful & attentive owners. Its in a fabulous location, with easy access & parking. Weve already booked for next year !

We took both Mill House and the Long House to give space for 3 generations of family to eat and socialise together while allowing us grandparents uninterrupted sleep and leisurely late breakfasts in the smaller house it was a perfect arrangement. Everyone was wowed by the accommodation which has been designed and equipped to a very high standard. The private garden of the Mill House was ideal for 2 small toddlers. The hot tub proved very popular with all. Bridget was a most kind and sympathetic host, mainly by email due to Covid but also, with Mark, in person on our final day when our car battery suddenly died! A wonderful location for a special holiday.

Cannot fault this place at all. Very well maintained and clean property, with nice little extra touches. Highly recommend to anyone staying in the area.

We had a really lovely week away at the Mill House. It was extremely clean, tidy and well looked after. There was nothing that we needed that wasnt there everything had been really well thought of. Great base in terms of location. We visited lots of places within a 45 minute drive each day. Plenty to do despite the rain we had and the hot tub kept everyone entertained. Already booked to return next August.

One of the best holidays experience weve ever had. Mill House is just amazing place to stay and enjoy your time. Its spotless clean,modern,charming and homely. Hot tub is great. There is a gas BBQin the garden. The beds are really comfortable. We enjoyed our time having breakfast and dinner in the dining room. You will find everything you need for cooking in the kitchen. Even lemon juice squeezer. All utensils,pots and cutlery are of great quality. The hosts are so helpful and friendly. The location is also great. We will definitely come back again.

An absolutely beautiful property with fantastic facilities. We absolutely loved our stay, quite simply this is the necest accommodation we have ever booked. We have already booked for next year, as have some friends off the back of seeing our photos! This is a lovely property, the facilities are of the highest quality and the hot tub was amazing on the cold nights, the nicest way to drink a glass of wine! We highly recommend Mill House.

The barn exceeds our expectations. Everything was more than we could ask for. The Mill House is one of 4 barns inside the property with loads of parking spaces. When we get inside the house everything was so clean and organise and the information book was really helpful as it contain from instructions about how to work appliances to information about places to eat nearby. It has a cozy fire place and they already provided some firewood, you can ask for more for a price but we already had enough on our stay. They had an all surround sound with a built in Ipad, they also have TVs in each bedroom. The hot tub was located outside and all I can say is that we enjoyed that one. The kitchen has everything we could ask for, there utensils and baking stuff available. The owner Bridget, we met briefly but not seen her again but she was always one message away. It was really good as we enjoyed our privacy. We couldnt asks for more, these gave us the feeling of selfcatering accommodation but also felt like were staying in a hotel. We would recommend this barn to anyone.

Accommodation is superb. The quality of fixtures and fittings are excellent and everything you need to make your self catering holiday easy. Such lovely touches like the St Kitts toiletries and a welcome hamper with some delicious bread made by local baker Tom. Would definitely recommend and hope we stay here again in the future

This Barn conversion is beautiful, designed well and cared for. The whole experience received was wonderful and no matter the weather you will have a wonderful stay. We had the best time here and would definitely return.

We visited Boskensoe Bands at the end of July and it exceed expectations in every way. The barn has been renovated to a beautifully high standard I had major house envy! Location was perfect 15 min drive from Falmouth beach and the hot tub was an added bonus. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect family holiday we were a family of 7 and when asked if the kids would rather go abroad next year, they unanimously agreed that they want to come back to the barn!
