The kitchen area has everything a cook needs to prepare a picnic lunch or delicious family favourites to enjoy around the dining table. There are two bedrooms located just off the living area - one is double with plenty of wardrobe space, and the second has bunk beds suitable for both adults and children. This latter room also has a TV. Completing this lovely cabin is a shower room with a waterfall Jacuzzi shower including body jets, a multi-function hand shower, and a WC. Outside, the surroundings are as striking as the cabin, and you will instantly understand why this is such a special place to retreat to and unwind from everyday concerns. A private wood-fired hot tub makes for the perfect place to relax and soothe tired muscles after a day of adventure. Enjoy a sundowner or an evening meal at the table and picnic bench on warm evenings and, if you need a walk then you can explore the surrounding woods. There are plenty of classic Cornish attractions close by including the historic ruins of Penhallam Manor (4.5 miles) with its dog-friendly trail, and the National Trust Georgian townhouse of Lawrence House (12 miles). Cornwall is a walker’s paradise and there are beautiful hiking areas at Efford Beacon (5 miles) or along the South West Coast Path at Caunter Beach and Rane Beach (16 miles).

Very quiet location, very clean
Niki
Absolutely most relaxing holiday we have ever had!!
Beverly
The lodges were lovely but unfortunately for me I couldn't manage the stairs so we had to use the two beds downstairs, we had a problem with the toilet but it was quickly fixed & the young man who mended it was lovely, we found the area a bit to isolated for us but Im sure lots of people would love it
Susan
The beds were very uncomfortable despite being regularly documented in the guest book! The bedside lights upstairs are very impractical they look good but are very difficult in the middle of the night!! The shower is excellent as is the hot tub The tv could be a lot better, too many apps to negotiate terrestrial tv would have been a real bonus onlyRead more small issues but irritating! Hide
Paul
The cottage is lovely in a quiet wooded area with only 1 other cottage across from it. Your over looked by the other cottage when you are in garden and hot tub even tho there's a small privacy screen. The living area is very spacious has plenty of room for a family to live comfortably. The 2 bedrooms have plenty of space, only issue was that the upRead morestairs bed is very low down and the mattress could do with being a bit thicker as it wasn't the best to sleep on. It has a nice big bathroom area. Hide

Neil
Excellent however we were lucky the Acorn property was not let as very close proximity to Oak in which we stayed, which would of detracted our privacy
Andrea

Tracey
Clean everything you need, hottub fantastic, home from home, location is lovely, peaceful, dogs loved it, so did us adults Thankyou for letting us stay xxx
Kerrie
Lovely cabin in a quiet location. There is another cabin on the site which is very close by however we had lovely neighbours and we didn't hear them. The stairs in this cabin are very steep so something to be aware of. Over all we loved our stay and would come back again!
Helen
We had a wonderful stay at this well equipped log cabin. Great location for exploring local beaches. We were surprised by how quiet this part of Cornwall was even in August.
Jason
Great secluded setting, yet only 15 minutes drive from amenities in Bude. All mod cons in the cabin. We took our Woodfire grill, which complimented the set up. Sleeping arrangements were perfect and plenty of room for the family. The wood fired hot tub is an added bonus and was very welcoming after a day at the beach. There is even a telescope for some star gazing, which with no light pollution, was amazing!! Thanks again for a fabulous week away.
Lauren
Lodge lovely and great location only downsides was the double bed, very uncomfortable and trees knocking against the lodge all night long.
Abi
The cabin is next door to another cabin, on description says its a scelued but it's not, the neighbours were lovely anyway but just in the description would of been nice. Maybe more equipment for the bbq & outside plates & things. The toliet door wouldn't lock & toliet seat very loose Very lovely place to relax, we visited summerleaze beach and spe nt alot of time at the cabin because it was so lovely and beautiful weather Huttub was great but no bubbles
Chantelle

Absolutely loved the lodge. Already looking for dates to rebook. The hot tub was lovely and just loved the feel of the lodge and how cosy and warm it was. It was super clean and had everything you needed to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable. Loved the balconies and the snug room. Perfect location too. Peaceful but close enough to amenities to get in food, supplies and have a wander about to the local beaches and towns. Thank you for a magical stay!
Jason
Really peaceful location, accommodation is superb with everything you will need. Even large jars of coffee , sugar & teabags provided. Very clean on arrival. Shower was powerful with many jets. Both balconies were stunning. Bedding was excellent & clean. Hot tub , well amazing. Loads of wood to burn even for my wife . 5 all the way.
Stephen
This was our first holiday as a family, and it was perfect. The cabins are in a great location within the private woodland, only a short drive from the local beaches and shops. If you're looking for the perfect holiday in a place where the whole family can enjoy it, I highly recommend booking here. My family and I will be returning next year, and w e can't wait
Jenny
Lovely lodge surrounded by trees, in beautiful clearing. Only a few miles to Bude and popular beaches. Hot tub great to come back to after being out all day!
Sam
This place is paradise. It's like something from a book and I can't believe it exists untouched in 2022. The moment we pulled up I felt like I'd entered a fairytale: accessible, beautiful and safe for us & our rescue dogs to enjoy freely. From the cabin to the woods surrounding it, the privacy, the quiet, the attention to detail, how spotlessly cle an it was; every single part of it is heavenly. As soon as we left we spoke about rebooking & my camera roll is full of picture & videos of the place
