Oak Cabin Reviews

Peaceful spot, spotless and calm
Emma Clarke
Truly the most chilled holiday we've ever experienced!
Harriet
The lodges are really charming, but stairs are a bit tricky for us, so we had to stick to the downstairs beds. The toilet issue was sorted out swiftlyand the repair guy was lovely. The area felt quite isolated, which wasn't ideal for us, but I reckon many would really enjoy the peaceful setting. Overall, a nice stay!
Emma
Honestly, we found the beds quite uncomfortable despite the guest book mentioning them regularly. The bedside lights upstairs look nice but are a pain when you’re trying to find something in the middle of the night! The shower and hot tub are fantastic, though. The TV could be better; too many apps and no terrestrial channels was a bit of a pain. Small things, but still irritating!
Emma
We stayed at this charming cottage nestled in a peaceful wooded area, with just one other cottage nearby. The garden and hot tub are lovely, but a bit of privacy could be better since you're slightly overlooked despite a small screen. The living space is really spacious, perfect for a family. The bedrooms are roomy too, though the upstairs bed is quite low and the mattress could be thicker-it wasn’t the most comfortable sleep. The bathroom is big and well-maintained. Overall, a cosy spot with some minor tweaks needed, but we enjoyed our stay a lot!
Emma
Absolutely loved it, will return and recommend to everyone I know!
Alex
Really enjoyed it, would definitely come back again sometime soon.
Claire
The place was super roomy and nicely furnished. Everything we needed was there, like tea, coffee, sugarand milk-such a help!
Sam
Overall, quite pleased! The Acorn place was free, luckily, since it’s right next to Oak where we stayed, which might’ve made privacy a bit tricky otherwise.
Emily
Fantastic spot, would definitely return
Emma
Really enjoyed our stay here! The location is peaceful and lovely, the hot tub was fantasticand it felt just like being at home. The dogs loved it too, thanks so much!
Emma
This cosy cabin is tucked away in a peaceful spotand despite the neighbouring cabin being quite close, we didn’t hear a thing-really appreciated the quiet. The stairs are a bit steep, so keep that in mind. Overall, we had a fantastic time and definitely plan to return!
Emma
Really enjoyed our stay at this cosy log cabin. Perfect spot for discovering nearby beaches. Was surprised how peaceful it was here, even in August-definitely a good place in Cornwall!
Emma
The lodge's setting is fantastic, really peaceful, but that bed was a bit of a nightmare-way too hard, kept waking us up all night!
Emma
The cabin was lovely and perfect for relaxing, especially with the great weather we had. We spent a lot of time there, as it’s really beautiful. The hot tub was fantastic, though it’s a shame there were no bubbles. The neighbours were super friendly, even though the description said it was secluded, which wasn’t quite the case. A bit more BBQ equipment and outside plates would’ve been handy. Also, the toilet door wouldn’t lock and the seat was quite loose, but overall, a really nice stay!
Emma
A lovely stay overall
Emma
Lovely place, peaceful setting, definitely worth it!
Mark
We loved the peaceful vibe here! The place was spotless when we arrivedand the shower with multiple jets was fantastic. Both balconies offered stunning viewsand the hot tub was just amazing. Plenty of wood for the fire, which my wife really appreciated. The accommodation had everything we needed, including large jars of coffee, sugarand teabags. Definitely a 5-star stay!
James
Our first family trip here and honestly, it couldn't have been better. The cabins nestled in the woodland are lovelyand it’s so close to beaches and local shops, which was handy. If you want a relaxed holiday that everyone can enjoy, this place ticks all the boxes. We’re already planning to come back next year, can’t wait to revisit this spot!
Emma
We loved the peaceful setting nestled among the trees, perfect for relaxing. The hot tub was a real treat after busy days at the nearby beaches and Bude.
