This house is lovely. We had two families of four stay and the space was great. Well equipped kitchen very clean and well presented. Would definitely book again. Everyone loved the cream tea and hot tub
Frances
Really lovely house - spacious, well kitted out and very clean. The owners were friendly and helpful too. The cottage is essentially on the edge of a holiday park so in busy times I imagine could be noisy and lack privacy but it was quiet when we were there. Things in walking distance (20-30 minutes) but the narrow high-sided lanes would put me off with young children/pushchairs as people do drive very quickly around them. Great location for exploring Cornwall - dont overlook perranporth!
Debbie
A lovely house, very spacious and all needs are well catered for. It's in a great position for 3 of our favourite beaches of Crantock, Holywell and Perranporth, all perfect for dogs, particuarly at low tide. The common is also excellent for dog walking and access to the coastal path. The hot tub is quite large and was well received after walking tw ice a day with our dogs! The nearest local shop is a short drive away, one in Cubert and one in Crantock. There are also a handful of pubs close by.
Nicola
Thank you for a lovely stay at Teg Gwel cottage everything was just perfect. The kids enjoyed the horses, chickens and feeding the pigs! The cottage had everything we could possibly need for our stay. It was spotless and we felt so at home. Nothing was to much trouble and we felt so welcomed! We will definitely be back xx
andy
Lovely Cottage, great location but if you're looking for privacy this isn't the place for you as you are basically living in the owner's back garden. Luckily we are early risers as a lot of building work going on right outside our back door at 8.00am.
Claire
The cottage is beautiful, and has everything you need. Quiet rural location on a small site with other caravans. Free range chickens roam around, and there are pigs, horses and lots of bunnies around to enjoy. Although you can walk the 1.5 miles to the nearest beach, its too much of a trek, so driving is best. You also need to drive to the local sh ops and pubs. Hot tub was super. Short drive to Newquay and Perranporth, and closer beaches too. Thanks Mike and Terri for making us feel so welcome
Shelley
We had a fantastic week in the cottage. It is very well equipped with everything we needed and is in a beautiful spot; quiet but within easy reach of beaches and attractions. It was spotlessly clean and towels and bedding were excellent quality. The local village has a well stocked shop and a great fish and chip shop. The Smugglers Den serves very good food. We will definitely come back.
Karen
Great location for proximity to Crantock and Newquay, local pub 5 minutes away by car served good food and catered for gluten free with good range of options. Cottage clean, spacious and well equipped Hot tub was enjoyed by all.
Rob
The house and views are lovely. Good location for attractions etc. The owner ms are very helpful and accommodating. Couldnt have asked for more. Would definitely stay here again.
Karen
We enjoyed an idyllic 3 nights at Teg Gwel cottage. Mike was friendly and made us feel very welcome., without being intrusive. The house is very clean and comfortable, considering it's dog friendly. Our dog enjoyed the new environment. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, and as our group have different dietary requirements, we could eat well wi thout having to eat out. The beaches are an easy off road walk away. We all enjoyed using the hot tub and will certainly book again in the future.
Kathleen
What a absolutely stunning cottage beautifully decorated an absolute Jem we couldn't have asked for anything more. Owners really helpful. Loved the hot tub and being able to see the horses every day. A perfect place thank you.
Andy
Excellent all round.
Suzanne
Wow what a fabulous time we have had staying here for New Year. The cottage is beautifully decorated. Mike and Terri were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. If you like cooking, the kitchen had the most equipment we have ever had on holiday. We loved the walks from the property, the beaches were an easy walk, but probably took a little longer than we thought, We loved the Hot Tub too. On our last day we had a car problem and Julie was so helpful too. Thank you so much 5 star plus
Bethany
I almost want to give a bad review so there is always space for us to go back! We LOVED this place the facilities were great the hot tub was fabulous and it was such a homely and sociable place to be. The owner who lives next door was so helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble We will 100% be going back
Elizabeth
The cottage is simply gorgeous, spacious and well-appointed. It's great for a larger family or group. Beds are very comfortable. Situated in a quiet location with walks all around and the coast nearby. Mike, the host is extremely helpful. Covid-19 guidelines are in place. I have visited twice in 2 years and I intend to return
Tracey
A lovely large cottage with great views. Very clean. Log burner but we didn't use as found the cottage warm anyway. Fabulous hot tub. For us we would have preferred nearer beach and pub as the pub in village was closed so had to drive everywhere. Lady that showed us the cottage helpful.
Harriet
A beautiful cottage perfect for all the family, spacious, clean and comfortable set in beautiful surroundings. We had a fantastic week and would highly recommend.
Joanne
Lovely clean and well laid out property in a lovely location x lovely walks from the cottage and good amenities in Cubert - the bakers dozen is worth a visit!
