This is a lovely holiday lodge, in a quiet setting. It could do with more crockery and better quality kitchen utensils but that could be said for most holiday rentals. We found lots of local walks for our dog and it was very close to Dartmoor for even more walking and stunning scenery. The local pub is ok for a meal if you dont want to cook but som etimes they close the kitchen if it is very quiet.
Tim
Really enjoyed our stay. Perfect for walking the dog on Dartmoor, only 4 miles from the army camp. So many trails to walk with spectacular scenery. Lovely to be able to get back for a soak in the hot tub. Very friendly staff.
Pat
Dartmoor lodge very dated, wallpaper peeling off walls. Cobwebs everywhere. sofa & beds very uncomfortable. decking needed a good jet wash, infact it needs replacing some parts were rotted.picnic table by hot tub. Never used as it was really dirty & rotting. Betty Cottles Inn,didnt look open, it looked like it had just been left to rot away. Popped in once to buy a drink to sit in the so called play area. Very disapppointed with the whole holiday.Shame when saved up for so long for a break.
Deborah
Very comfortable accommodation. Idyllic setting. Lovely small site and location. Many places to visit nearby.
James

Vicky
Just had a lovely long weekend stay in Dartmoor, 2 adults, 2 kids + dog. Found it easy enough, you just have to know to turn into Betty Cottles Inn car park, it's not sign posted to Meldon Lodge. Really impressed with the lodge equipment; washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, scrubber, cleaning products, kitchen/toilet roll, hand wash, salt/pepper , tin foil, hair dryer. Nice sized lodge, with a bigger hot tub for 6, clean and comfy, Meldon Reservoir close for lovely walks.
Joe
We had a lovely stay. Place is clean and spacious. Liked that you had loads of kitchen items on hand.

A small starter pack for washing up and dish washer. Possibly washing machine. Would be most beneficial.
