An absolutely wonderful stay. The house is modern, immaculately clean and well equipped with just about everything you could need. Its well located - 5 mins drive from appledore (easily walkable too) and 10 mins from bideford and westward ho. Hot tub is a nice extra, but by far my favourite part of this house is the view from the lounge & balcony aRead morecross the bay. I spent hours watching the tides change and the boats come & go. Sky Break is an amazing home and an ideal base for exploring the delights of North Devon. The house has just been built and the owners have thought of everything for the comfort of the guest. The views are fantastic and best enjoyed from the balcony or the luxurious hot tub in the rear garden. We would not hesitate in recommending booking a holiday at Sky Break and in Appledore.

Exmoor Zoo is described as a "family zoo" on their website and it certainly makes a great day out for families. There are many exotic and rare animals as well as birds to see which are living in natural surroundings. Some recent improvements at the zoo include a new 5 metre tower at the cheetahs and raised walkways at the "beast". There is also a new viewing platform over the sitatunga. As well as the amazing animals to experience there are regular fun activities such as face painting, daily events and zoo trails.
