The cottage itself is lovely but the layout is a bit tricky with dogs. Fantastic accommodation in a great location. Enjoyed evenings out at three of the local pubs, all of which were great and walks down the Tarka trail and into Bideford. Walking to Appledore was perhaps a step to far for us, the bus ride back was pleasant and much needed. Would stay again and highly recommend.

Lovely, cosy cottage where all home comforts have been thought of by the very diligent owners. Great location for a chilled out holiday. Wonderful cottage in a fantastic location. Pubs and the beach right at the end of the road. Everything you could need is provided and the hot tub was great for relaxation. You can unload outside the cottage, but then park at the Quay pub car park just down the road Our dog loved her walks on the beach and most of the local pubs seemed to be dog fri endly. Definitely recommend taking the ferry across to Appledore during your stay.

This property is extremely well located being a very short distance from the pub, The Quay Inn, the local shop and the beach where there are three other pubs/restaurants. Really well equipped cottage (hot tub, place for the dog to be washed down from the beach, all the kitchen utensils you'd need) and the perfect size for two people and a dog. Bed very comfortable and the area is extremely peaceful so we slept very well.
Stephen
Excellent cottage, it had everything we wanted on our 8 day stay, the bed was so comfy, hot tub a lovely touch, , kitchen and lounge, so spacious, we didn't use the BBQ but it was obviously brand new. The area, is lovely, with such friendly locals. Would definitely recommend this cottage to family and friends. Good location to explore other area's as well, Appledore was a favourite for us.
