We enjoyed our stay, it was a lovely location and really peaceful in the evenings. The owner was on hand for any issues and promptly sorted out a small problem with the jacuzzi. It was great value for money.

This is a lovely barn conversion with the most outstanding views. The beds are comfortable and the shower is great. I would highly recommend this to people who want a quiet, cosy get away. The owners are also very approachable and are happy to help, if needed. We would definitely book this place again. There are loads of walks nearby and it's not tRead moreoo far from the sea either. Had a nice break here, the cottage was a lot smaller than expected but as there were only two of us and Roger,my dog it was ok. Lots of fields around which was lovely for Roger. Weather could have been better, but have to expect rain, it is England. Lovely hot tub to keep me warm.
Andrew
Lovely cottage in a beautiful location, peace and quiet in abundance. Walks are plentiful, with a couple of lovely pubs within walking distance and stagger back On a clear night the night sky is to die for, especially whilst relaxing in the hot tub. Would certainly return
Grant
It was very dusty, we had to clean it as soon as we arrived. Dust, crisp packets, dirt down side of bed on arrival.
Pamela
Relaxing and tranquil. Beautiful view from the hot tub as well.
Kathy
A comfortable cottage, well equipped and clean, with a lovely hot tub as well.

Loved being at this property would book it again . Beautiful scenery and very quiet. If u want away from the rat race book here it was beautiful . The only thing is you need a car to get anywhere about the place but apart from that I would book this cottage again .
Susan
We enjoyed our stay at Barncroft. The weather, however, was not warm enough to be able take advantage of the picnic table with great views down to the Vale of Taunton. The property is within easy reach of lots of interesting places to visit. The town has two supermarkets Asda and Waitrose and a bit further out Lidl. We had a very nice meal at RumweRead morell farm shop. The complimentary bottle of wine was much appreciated too. Hide

The Location is beautiful. The property has everything you need. Cleanliness was an issue with dog hair and dust on the sides, in drawers and under furniture. The Hot tub could not reach a temperature in the cold weather to be used, so that was ashamed. The bed was not for me, as it was memory foam with no bounce back. Absolutely stunning location and wonderful accommodation. Would very happily revisit for more hot tub star-gazing and misty dale walks! The hosts were extremely accommodating and were fabulous at making sure we got there safely with no problems with access etc.

I would recommend this barn again if you love peace and quiet as I do. Its close to various locations for foods and thankfully lacks to many tourists but then it was June not July schools-out period. So much space around you and loved it.
Amy
Lovely cottage with beautiful views of the countryside, not too far at all into the local town of Wellington. Plenty of towels available for both showering and hot tub use which was great. Kitchen supplies basic compared to some cottages stayed at, need to take everything for cooking such as oil and pepper. Great stay overall.
Jenny
Nice little cottage for 3 of us with great views and walks . It was fairly simple in a good way and had everything we needed. The hot tub and bbq were fab!
Corrina
A lovely little cottage with a lovely view. Not the cleanest especially if your not use to dog hair & smell. Great location with takeaway places, garden centres and town near. Really appreciated the little touches around the cottage including towels for the hot tub. The hot tub wasn't the best but was still lovely looking at the amazing view.
Catherine
Fantastic location! Feels like you're in the middle of nowhere but Wellington is only 5 minutes away. Outstanding views from the hot tub which was ready to use when we arrived. Nice touch with the welcome pack and the bottle of wine in the fridge. Everything was thought of including dishwasher tablets which I had forgot. Nice and safe for dog to wa nder around as there's a gate to keep them from going onto the road. Cosy and compact but airy & not cramped. Hope to return next year. Recommended
Hennie
Cottage in a very good and quiet place
Andrew
Had a wonderful stay, property was very clean and comfortable and ideally located for us to explore the west country. The hot tub was the feather in the cap and could be enjoyed in all weathers where it is under shelter. Ideally located near to the pretty village of Wellington and Taunton. Would happily stay again
Sushil
Peace and quiet location with the stunning view. Hot tub is a bonus. My 7 years old daughter enjoyed a lot. Highly recommended !
Richard
Absolutely fantastic time away. Very clean when we arrived. Owners were great to leave us to have total privacy with no interruptions. Such a lovely peaceful area, tucked away but easy to find with a sat nav. Would definitely recommend! hot tub lovers - it is a low power one so in cold weather it drops heat fairly swiftly, fine if used for short pe riods but for us that likes to use them for a decent time period its not suitable as it drops heat quickly, and even faster if using jets.
Garry
Excellent. Lovely clean accomodation loads of room comfy bed everything you need including spare towels for the hot tub. Good location set above the town of wellington with great views from the Hot tub. The hot tub was ready to go when we arrived and was in pristine condition. Would definitely book again.
Laura
A very lovely cottage, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The hot tub was lovely and much appreciated after a day out and about, its also very private. The only very slight negative is that the garden area is not fully enclosed so we couldn't allow our dog off his lead as he's not trustworthy yet! Nothing a tied up long line couldn't fix though. Overa ll, a very lovely, peaceful break, thank you.
Jack
Lovely cottage in a lovely scenic setting. Hot tub was great. All appliances and towels etc all provided. 2 decent sized rooms with one having the double. Had a really good time. Thank you!
Gary
A compact and comfy cottage overlooking Wellington. Relaxing with a great view. Easy access to some lovely places in the area. Lots of dog friendly pubs with good food and a great hot tub to relax in at night with great views.

Great place to stay and very quiet. We had our 5yr old son and Lab so perfect for all of us. Lovely walks and many places to visit. Loved exploring the country side and the beaches nearby. And was even better to come back and get in the hot tub after all the walking! Owners were lovely.
David
Amazing views, awesome at night from the jacuzzi. The wildlife at nights was an additional bonus (Deer and Foxes)
