The Forge Reviews

We had a great week . The forge is a little gem, the decor is very stylish . The back patio is a sun trap and its very nice to have the hot tub to relax in . One thing that I would say is could you put a mirror on the wall in the back bedroom? We would hope to return at some point in the future .
The checkin and checkout times seem to be at the furthest extremes of what is acceptable. Our checkin time was changed to 5 pm, which we were disappointed with as we had some logistics to take care of at the cottage before we could buy groceries. All in all, it meant that we ate dinner at about 9pm and felt that we missed out on our first afternoonevening in the cottage. Similarly, a check out time of 10am is quite early and caused a morning rush to get up and packed, and then do the necessary stripping of beds and gathering of towels as required.

Firstly well done to the owners, the Forge is absolutely lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very well appointed with everything we needed for a weeks stay. Everything about the cottage was just lovely, bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen, lounge and hot tub were perfect. The Forge is certainly deserving of it's five star rating and we will definitely be booking again. G Lowe
A well appointed cottage, very cleverly using the original features to create a rusticmodern feel. Everything is good quality & the cottage was very clean. The paddocks for dog walking are great & treats & welcome package much appreciated!
