We had a wonderful time at the Coach House! The place is super peaceful and ideal for families, plus our dog loved it too. Plenty of nice walks and exploring spots nearbyand we found some great eateries and a supermarket not too far away. The homemade cake on arrival was a lovely touch, really appreciated it. It took us a bit to figure out how to refill the teacup, but we got there eventually. Overall, a fantastic stay-thanks so much!
James
We had a lovely stay at The Coach Houseand honestly, it feels just like a home away from home. Despite the weather being pretty rubbish all week, we still enjoyed exploring the area and loved coming back to the house. The log fire was a nice touch, even in May! Big thanks to the friendly staff and the quick help from the team. Highly recommend!

What a fantastic location and such a homely vibe! Some cottages can feel a bit generic, but this one truly feels like a home. It’s surrounded by greenery, with all the windows showcasing stunning gardens, private woodlands or rolling hills. The mountain walks right on the doorstep are amazingand it's super dog friendly with two beds and bowls provided. We really appreciate not having to pack our own shampoo and conditioner. Little touches like that, along with the well-equipped kitchen, make this place feel extra special. The large rooms are lovely tooand we definitely want to come back!

This cottage is so cosy and has a lovely traditional feel, nestled in stunning countryside. It was spotless and well equipped - the bedding and towels are of top quality! There was loads of crockery, glassware, pots and pans available. The kitchen even had cleaning materials and foil, plus a delightful homemade cake, fresh eggsand milk waiting for us. We had a fantastic week at The Coach House. The property is spacious yet warm and cosy. It had everything we needed, so much so that we chose to stay in for dinner because it was far too nice to go out. We booked the barn for a mid-week break and had a fab time! When we arrived, Valentine and Doug were there to greet us and show us around, which was really welcoming. We especially loved the home-made cake on arrival (thank you so much!). Couldn't fault the barn; it's just lovely. The garden was a blast for our dogs to run around in and exploreand even though there was a stream, we managed to keep our dogs out of the water the whole time. The location is superb, with lots of charming towns nearby and plenty of hill walking opportunities. We hope to come back soon!
Emma
We were really pleased with our stay! The Coach House was really well appointed, the beds were comfortableand the kitchen had everything we needed. Its location was just perfect for exploring the area and it was an easy walk to the local pub for drinks and dinner. Just a heads up, the hot tub does take a few hours to heat up, so plan ahead if you're going to use it - but it's well worth it!

The kitchen is really well equippedand you won't need to pack any oil or vinegar, salt or pepper - it’s all there! The bedding is fantasticand if you have a dog, they will absolutely adore the heated floors or the beds provided. Take a walk down the drive to soak in the gorgeous scenery, which is perfect for the whole family, especially the stream that the kids loved so much!

What a beautifully, tastefully restored coach house with every comfort you could wish for! Quality really shines through, from the crockery to the bedding. The hot tub was such a delight, especially on a chilly February weekendand it was easy to 'fire up'. We really appreciated the underfloor heating too. The caretaker was very helpful. If you're after some peace and quiet, this place is definitely for you! It's also just a short drive to Abergavenny and three Marcher castles. We thoroughly recommend it!
