The place had everything we needed, from tea and coffee to a fully equipped kitchen-perfect for cooking up a storm. The hot tub with its stunning view was definitely a highlight, especially in the evenings. Our dog Billy loved exploring the nearby canal walksand we enjoyed visiting the local pubs and shops. We’ll be back for sure!

We spent a week here in October and honestly, we didn’t want to leave! The place is so peaceful, perfect for unwindingand it’s genuinely one of the most dog-friendly spots we’ve ever stayed at. The cottage is super well-equipped, spaciousand more than we expected. Our dogs loved running around the paddock and having the freedom off their leads. The grounds are simply stunning. We found this cottage six years ago and keep coming back because it’s just perfect for us. The grounds are beautifuland our Cockapoo, Daisy, adores the paddock where she can run free safely. Pippa is always helpful and friendly, making our stay even better. The cottage itself is cosy, spotlessand fully equipped - really feels like a home away from home. The hot tub with its stunning views is the cherry on top. We’re already planning to return in 2025!

Really peaceful and comfy, perfect for unwinding. The location's a bit remote, so getting around takes time with all the roadworks. Stunning views of Sugar Loaf from the deck though!

Honestly, we weren’t expecting such a spacious place! The photos don’t quite capture how big it really is. The owner was super friendly and flexible, which made everything easy. There are plenty of pretty walks nearbyand the local shop and butchers had everything we needed. We loved the Lamb and Flag - great value, very dog-friendlyand just a short drive away. The Britannia is within walking distance but only allows dogs outside, not ideal if the weather turns bad. All in all, a lovely stay!

Sadly, we had to leave after less than a day due to unforeseen reasons, which was such a shame because the apartment looked perfect for a full week. It was fully equipped with everything you could needand the view from the veranda would have been lovely to enjoy daily. Pippa is a genuinely lovely lady who goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is great. Thanks so much, Pippa!
