Super house, with all mod cons and comfort.... more than our expectation. The hot tub was wonderful, room for six or more and with a powerful jet. Would love to return to make full use of the outdoor facilities. All 11 of us agreed that we would be delighted to be able to return.

The house was ideal for a Christmas family gathering. The farm walk to the lake was great for dog walking. I bet its lovely in the summer. The house was well equipped for the number of people in our party and the ground floor bedrooms meant we could manage my disabled mother without worrying about access. Some of us took advantage of the hot tub wh ich was great even when it was cold outside. Sarah and Johnathon were lovely and their cake was exceptional. Definitely would visit again.

A really fantastic place to stay for my daughter's 21st and had a lovely welcome from Jonathan. Big enough for all our family and space to be apart when we wanted to. Beautiful cottage and grounds, well equipped above and beyond what we expected. All the family (3 generations) had a fantastic time including the dog. The grandchildren loved every minute, with plenty of things to keep them occupied, pool table, tennis court, hot tub and lots of walks in the grounds.
Amanda
What a fabulous holiday. We wanted to come together as a wider family whilst staying safe and having our own space. The main 5 rooms are fantastic, Nana was happy in the downstairs endroom which was a traditional style and the surprise of a mini kitchen. Sarah and Jonathan are lovely; leave you to get on with it but close by if needed. We had days out, but so much enjoyed the main kitchen/living space and mezzanine levels. A really well thought out barn conversion. Already booked for next year!
Will
We had an absolutely fantastic stay. Owners were lovely, facilities were amazing, the cottage was really clean and excellently furnished. We plan on returning next year.

Rushmoor Country Park - GU10 1ET
about 13 Miles
Located in Louth in Lincolnshire this is an ideal attraction when you want to get out in the fresh air and explore. There are many animals to see including ponies and piglets which the little ones love.  There are also some amazing birds from hawks and falcons to owls.  Most aspects of this attraction are included in the admission cost and as well as wandering around you get to hold and feed the animals too.  A real highlight are the micro pigs which are just like real pigs but in miniature.  Fully grown they are around the size of a spaniel!  If you get hungry then you can take your own picnic to the picnic areas or head for the tea room selling delicious food and children's meals too.
Pleasure Island - DN35 0PL
about 18 Miles
Wow this is an amazing family theme park and you will probably need the full day to experience it all.  From thrilling rides to family shows, kids of all ages are catered for.  Some of the most popular rides include the Obliterator and The Pendulus, not forgetting the Hypoblaster.   Family shows are entertaining such as the African Acrobat Show which is back by popular demand.  Entrance tickets are good value and if you book online you will receive a discount. To save even more money if you live locally or are visiting the area for a few weeks you could buy a season ticket for around £50 which will allow you entry for the whole season.
The Jungle Zoo - NR31 9EY
about 18 Miles
Centred around a Tropical House in an amazing jungle like setting this is a really unique attraction that will appeal to families.  In the Cleethorpes area of Lincolnshire it's easy to get to and offers a fun yet educational experience.  Referred to as the number one attraction in the area highlights include capuchin monkeys, meerkats, ring tailed lemur and for the children African pygmy goats.  The tropical house features Red Eared and other Terrapins from North America and goldfish amongst other things.  We think The Jungle Zoo represents excellent value for money too.  We recommend a whole day to explore this attraction and ensure you get to see all of the animals resident there.
Natureland Seal Sanctuary - PE25 1DB
about 27 Miles
Awarded the Lincolnshire Family Attraction of the Year award in recent years this fun day out is recommended. You can see seals and penguins, as well as other animals in the popular pets corner.  Feeding time for the seals and penguins is the real highlight of the day. Entertainment, education and conservation are the main aims of this attraction. Natureland's work with abandoned baby seals has become known worldwide and it's carefully researched rearing and treatment program is now used by many other rescue centres.
Normanby Hall Country Park - DN15 9HU

The stunning grounds are abundant with wildlife as well as beautiful flora and fauna and there is no better place for a summer picnic. There is also plenty of open space for children to run around.
