Just got home from a great stay at The Hayloft. the cottage has everything you could ever need. The biggest plus is having The Stiperstones Inn right across the road ,with it's fantastic food and friendly service, also dog friendly.

We had a Fabulous 4 day break at the Hayloft was fantastic and hot tub . And supprise Lemon Drizzle cake from owner from the Stripperstones Inn. Which was brill lovely area lovely local people and Staff at Inn we are Vegetarians menu fantastic. Would recommend and will be coming back again.
We enjoyed are stay at the Hayloft but we were very disappointed with the cleanliness and it is looking very tired. The pub across the road was superb as was the cake on arrival
Michael
We spent an excellent week at the Hayloft which had everything we needed. Phil and Lara were away but the Inn staff looked after us and our takeaway meals very well indeed. The weather didnt materialise to be quite as awful as forecast and we were able to do long walks every day to discover this beautiful part of Shropshire we didnt know before such as walking the ridge, the impressive Devils Chair, the Bog lovely tea room to Rhadley Hill, Clun and Bury Ditches Iron Age settlement, Haughmond Abbey, etcThe lemon drizzle cake was so good and milk and bread left for us was a thoughtful touch.
We had a fantastic stay at the Hayloft! !! It had everything we needed and the owner had provided loads of great info and local tips. Lovely enclosed garden for the pooch, with the highlight being the hot tub. Stipingstones is a beautiful village with lots of scenic walks and lots to do in the area. I definitely plan on visiting again.

We had a lovely weekend break at the Hayloft. Nice and cosy and great location close to pub and shop. Property is very well maintained, clean and tidy with everything we needed. We will be back next year sometime. Highly recommended holiday home.
Lesley
Very comfortable and well equipped cottage situated in a lovely area. The cake, bread and milk were a nice touch. Nice to find a proper pub selling good food and beer at reasonable prices. We were made to feel very welcome by the local clientele and the dogs loved the sausages!

We had an amazing holiday the house was amazing really friendly people would definitely recommend to everyone
Can't find anything negative to say lovely cottage, lovely pub, lovely people.

This property is a gem. The hot tub is a lovely extra. The property is set in a lovely village, the pub serves food, the food is gorgeous and great value for money. Staying at the Hayloft you get 10 discount at the pub. Walks for Milo where on the doorstep. The views are spectacular. The cottage was immaculate, home from home. On arrival into the cottage the owners had left a beautiful cake, milk and bread. I will be booking again for next year. Highly recommended. The shop next door sells everything you would ever need on holiday. Definitely the wow factor
Deepika
We had an amazing stay at the Hayloft. It had all the amenities we needed, including a washing machine and dryer. The hot tub was perfect after a long trek. A bonus is the inn next door that has amazing food, and also a small shop. There's a nice enclosed garden for those staying with pooches as well.

This cosy conversion is ideal for a couple. The kitchendining area is well equipped, the small sitting room is comforting and the bedroom has ample drawer space and an adequate builtin wardrobe. The bed itself is large and comfortable and the room has a good view. The secluded hot tub and contained patio garden with barbeque is a bonus. There is a welcoming pub right across the road serving excellent food and its adjoining tiny shop is a department store in miniature. The setting is dramatic and the surrounding area of outstanding natural beauty invites exploration. But don't just believe this... try it for yourselves.
The Hayloft was perfect for a relaxing getaway. Really attentive hosts, we arrived to find milk, bread, and cake left for us which was incredibly thoughtful. We spent every evening in the hot tub, just enjoying the peace. Some of the towels left for us were stained which was disappointing, but overall the cleanliness was good, and the bedroom is so gorgeous. The pub across the road is so friendly, with an unexpectedly large vegetarian menu. I spent all week drinking whinberry gin, so lovely! We took our dogs for beautiful walks right on the doorstep, no need to drive anywhere. Such a lovely area. We fully utilised having the shop across the road, and again were pleasantly surprised at how well stocked it was and the variety of products. We were, however, quite shocked to walk in one day to hear a conversation between a shopkeeper and some locals that was transphobic and quite homophobic. It was made even worse when they tried to include us in this derogatory conversation. Though this has nothing to do with the holiday property, it may be worth noting if you're planning a stay. Again, this is of no fault to the hosts we loved staying at the Hayloft and were sad for our holiday to end. We had such a great time
Lovely haven for two with the added luxury of a hot tub. Basics provided Tea , coffee etc. Milk and homemade cake extra bonus. Pillows were a bit soft personally, so would have liked a firmer choice. The Stiperstones Inn is across the road owners serving fine ales and good food at a reasonable price. Good area to walk or explore by car.
Well proportioned and well equipped, perfect stay for a couple. Hot tub very convenient and ideal for two. Host and pub staff are very helpful and the village shop just opposite is amazingly well stocked. Plenty of stunning views from the surrounding hills. Even a car is not essential as with planning the local bus service and bus stop next to the property can be used.
This is a beautiful place with everything you need on your door step,we will be returning
Fantastic place to stay, absolutely loved it, nice and quiet, very peacefull, everything you need to have a great relax, hot tub is awesome, in all weather, great walks on your doorstep. The pub is literally 20 steps away and have a great menu, and very nice ales and ciders too, very well priced, the shop is also extremely well stocked and again extremely well priced. The locals are very friendly, overall a gem of a place to visit, I would not hesitate to return here again
Hayloft great place & great people well done
Great accommodation. Comfy compact with everything you need including a great hot tub. The area is great for walking and driving and the pub run by the Hayloft owner Lara has great and reasonable food. Everything about it fits together well.would highly recommend.
We had a lovely break and having a friendly pub right opposite no need for cooking! Stunning area lots to see and walks available ideal if you have a four legged companion too! Comfy bed in a spacious bedroom and added bonus of a hot tub although we only got to use it once weather turned chilly us oldies not quite brave enough !
Just got home from a 5 night stay in The Hayloft. I couldnt say a bad word about the place it was perfect just what I needed to recharge my batteries. Some lovely walks on your doorstep and the pub across the road is great with lovely food too. The locals also very friendly.
Alfred
Well appointed cottage across the road from the excellent Stiperstones Inn which does food sufficient not to want to cook in the cottage during your stay. Close to some lovely scenery and with a bijou hot tub to relax in after a day out.
Darren
We loved our stay at the Hayloft. Cottage was lovely and clean with great facilities. Pub and shop over the road is perfect. Ideal to get away and relax. We've recommended the Hayloft to our friends and we will no doubt book it again! Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here.
Lovely cottage with everything you need. Comfortable beds and hot tub a bonus. Great location with fantastic walks onto the stiperstones from the door. Pub across the road, the stiperstones inn is great. Good value food and really friendly staff. Run by Phil and Lara who own the cottage. Well worth a visit. We will definitely be back
The Hayloft was everything we expected and as described. Phil & Lara were most welcoming and there was a most welcome home made sponge waiting for us on the kitchen table in a cake stand, which was soon devoured. Hayloft residents also benefit from a discount if you dine there. The staff and local villagers are very friendly, the community spirit can be heard throughout their banter
Really great cottage for a break. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Place was just right for the two of us. We had all we needed. The area is stunning. Thanks to everyone there.
Fabulous cottage in a superb setting, very comfortable and well equipped. Hosts were friendly and welcoming. After exploring the countryside, a chill in the hot tub followed by a scrumptious meal in the pub opposite rounded off the days perfectly. Shall definitely be returning.
Lovely stay for 2 people, across the road from a pub that serves lovely food. Hot tub for the end of the day.what else could we ask ? Thank you
Francine
I have just returned from a short break at the Hayloft with my daughter. Truly lovely, very relaxing, and everything provided that you could need! The kitchen is well equipped, the bed so comfortable with lovely bedding, comfortable sofas, games and DVD's ... everything you would want for a relaxing break in that beautiful part of the UK. And to top it off, the pub is literally a 30 second walk away! And it's a country pub, so not loud or rowdy, but just friendly with amazing food! And there is a little shop next door to the pub which appears to sell everything! Yes, I would thoroughly recommend a stay in the Hayloft, it's amazing!! Oh, and the hot tub is pretty good too!
Not happy at all with this property. Central heating was abysmal, was constantly switching off due to the boiler switch being flicked overnight. This occurred every night we stayed. I specifically requested the hot tub area to be prepared for use upon arrival, hot tub was prepared but there was no garden light whatsoever so hot tub was rendered useless at night time. No TV in the bedroom, had to borrow the TV from the living room. Toilet seat was cracked, and bathroom was too cold to use at times due to the central heating issue. I booked my stay for 7 nights, but cut it short to just 4 nights because of the terrible experience requested a full refund from the owner but that was denied was only compensated less than half of what I originally paid for the booking even though the property owner constantly had to come and sort out the heating issue so was not happy at all about the experience overall. I will never be booking here again, and I would never recommend anybody to stay here unless you like living in a fridgefreezer. Horrible, horrible experience. 010.
Chantelle
Absolutely perfect property, location and hosts. This superseded all expectations! Will definitely be returning, as we fell in love with the place.
Thr place is amazing, 2nd time there. The staff in the pub are fantastic and the village is welcoming. Will book again
