Ty Hiraeth, meaning 'house with a sense of coming home' in Welsh, is situated, surrounded by glorious rolling countryside in Llandyssil near Montgomery, close to the Welsh/Shropshire border. On a quiet country lane, with the owner's house at the end of the road, this stunning and luxurious newly-built lodge is ideal for a couple or small group wanting to enjoy the peaceful tranquility of rural Wales, with a well-thought out design and lovely finishing touches.
Driving up to the property, there is off-road parking available for one car, and the flat gravel driveway of this all-ground-floor property is suitable for any guests with mobility issues. Heading inside, there is a utility room with sink, coat hooks and a washing machine, for your convenience.
From here, the bright and airy open-plan living area has huge bi-folding doors, allowing in plenty of natural light and showcasing those spectacular countryside views. This large space has underfloor heating, giving it a cosy and homely feel, with a dining table set for four, where you can gather together to enjoy meals lovingly prepared in the contemporary kitchen, fully-equipped with all of the necessities you will require, including a dishwasher, so you don't have to worry about the washing up.
The sitting room has a large l-shaped sofa you can relax onto after a day of exploring, with a cosy woodburning stove roaring in the corner and your choice of what to watch on the 55" nano-cell TV for that ultimate viewing experience, or simply just sit back and admire those glorious views. The bi-fold doors open onto the decking, where a picnic bench-style table and chairs are ideal for an alfresco meal in the sunshine or to enjoy a meal cooked on the BBQ, while the two sun loungers are perfect for lounging in the sunshine, with the private hot tub close by, directly outside one of the bedrooms, should you want to add a touch of luxury to your stay.
