We had a fabulous stay for a few days in Parcel cottage, tucked away in the corner it was peaceful and perfect for a few days of nothing at all. Gorgeous house which is furnished beautifully. Amazing views and garden. Really relaxing stay, we had good weather which was a bonus. Stanhope is only a few minutes drive away and has everything you need and a lovely river walk and stepping stones. Lovely Italian in Wolsingham, 15 mins away. Would recommend taking mosquito spray to keep the bites t o a minimum as it's near the river and later afternoon evening they like to come out. Would definitely recommend this house.

Really delighted with our holiday here. Parcel Cottage is furnished to the highest tastes which made our stay all the more relaxing and comfortable. The hottub is really nice and our labrador loved the garden. So much to see and do locally in this outstanding area - high moorland, waterfalls, fishing, really nice small towns and villages. Great lights everywhere too but bear in mind no blackout blinds in the bedrooms so take an eye mask. Lovely walks on your doorstep, great little pub just 10 mins walk away. Walk into Stanhope is lovely a long the disused railway track, High force waterfall was a lovely day out too

Parcel cottage is an awesome place. Its well located, spacious, well presented and stocked. A Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location and within easy reach of Hadrians wall sites and numerous other locations. Some very nice local dog walks too so all good.

We had an amazing 4 nights at this gorgeous cottage. It was truly amazing, spotlessly clean, had everything you need & to a high standard. My boys loved going in the hot tub & making us of the spa bath. My dog loved the big garden which was all enclosed so was perfect for us. It is set in a lovely countryside with local villages nearby.
