Queens Court House Reviews

Emma
We were really excited about the hot tub, but it was unusable for the first three days, which was disappointing since that was a big reason for booking. Also, some basic things like oven gloves, toilet rollsand towel hooks in the bathrooms were missing. The view is stunning, but sadly, the owner doesn’t seem to take reviews seriously.
Emily
The place was lovely, with stunning views and super handy for shops and the Metro. The owner was quick to fix a plumbing issue and really friendly.
Emma
Really enjoyed the stay, stunning views and a lovely, modern vibe.
Charlotte
We booked mainly for the stunning views, which didn’t disappoint! The location is really convenientand the scenery is breathtaking. However, the house itself felt a bit disappointing-there was a noticeable lack of attention to detail, which we’d seen echoed in the guestbook comments. The back garden was quite messy, with rubbish lying around and it seemed like it hadn’t been tidied up in a while. We did have some initial trouble with neighbours blocking the parking space, but after a quick chat, they sorted it out. Overall, lovely spot with some room for improvement!
Emma
Great spot, really convenient locationand the stay was lovely overall. Definitely returning!

Really enjoyed our stay here! The house was super cosy and had everything we needed. Loved the stunning sea views and the binoculars were a nice touch. Plenty to do nearby, whatever the weather!
James
We loved this lovely 4-bedroom house right by the seafront in Whitley Bay. The views are stunningand the location’s perfect for exploring. It’s well-equippedand the hot tub was definitely a highlight! Our family of 7 had a fantastic week in January and can’t wait to return someday.
Emma
Great spot with lovely views and modern style!
James
We had a really lovely stay at this dog-friendly house, situated in a fantastic spot. Plenty of space for our group of eight and parking was straightforward. The kitchen and dining area were great for meals and chats. It’s a perfect base for exploring Newcastle, Tynemouthand those stunning beaches. A few small issues were noted in the comments book, like broken items that could be replaced quicker, but overall, it didn’t ruin our trip. We had a cracking time with friends!
James
Really enjoyed the place, lovely area, modern decorand the beds were super comfy all around!
Emily
We had a fantastic time! The location was spot onand having a parking space made things so much easier. Don’t worry about the street noise, it’s not a problem. Waking up to those sea views with a cuppa was simply lovely.
Sarah
The location is really greatand the property looks nice and clean at first glance. But there were quite a few issues-like a broken dining chair, a faulty tap, a toilet seat that was looseand a kitchen bin that was overflowing. We also had to unblock the shower drain because it wouldn't drain properly. The kitchen was poorly stocked, with dirty cupboards full of crumbs and old bags. The hot tub was fantastic, but there was no proper place to dry towels or swimwear. We left a day early and got a strange message from the housekeeper about the alarm code-how did they know we’d gone? Probably the Ring doorbell! Quite odd really.
Alex
Beautiful spot with breathtaking scenery. We spotted dolphins a couple of times and the lighthouse is a must-see for the seals. Really enjoyed our holiday!
Emily
We loved the location, overlooking the stunning beach and lively promenade at Whitley Bay. It’s perfect for exploring local cafes, barsand restaurantsand the town centre is just a short walk away. The view from the living room is fantasticand the sofas are super comfy. The kitchen had everything we needed for a quick stay. We did have a small hiccup with the hot tub and bins, but it was sorted quickly, so no big deal. Overall, a great place to stay!
Lucy
We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is stunning with plenty of space and lovely sea views that make it feel so peaceful. It’s modern and comfy, perfect for a relaxing break. Whitley Bay is just a short drive away with loads of great places to eat and drink. Our Labrador loved every minute - beach walks all day and watching other dogs pass by from the big windows. Plus, having parking was a real bonus!
Emma
We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is lovely, well locatedand the double beds are comfy, though a bit smaller than expected. Slightly pricey but definitely worth it for the experience!
James
Really enjoyed our stay, lovely view and super clean rooms.
Emma
The house was stunningand we really appreciated the underfloor heating - so cosy! The hot tub was a highlightand the sea views are just gorgeous. Plenty of bars and eateries nearby for a break from cooking.
Emma
We found this place quite by accident after our original booking fell through just a week before our tripand honestly, we’re so glad! The view was breathtaking, especially at sunset - truly unforgettable. With six of us staying, it never felt cramped, which was great. We visit this area yearly and will definitely be coming back again!
James
This place was fantastic! Waking up to sea views was a real treat. We were seven and never felt squished. Plenty of nice bars and eateries nearby. Graham, the owner, was quick to reply whenever we reached out. Definitely recommend for a relaxed stay!
