The cottage was fabulous, spacious, light, airy and fully equipped. The 2 larger bedrooms were luxurious, all beds extremely comfy, and all the bedroons being en-suite was an added bonus. The hot tub was great, and we had a fabulous stay.

A really beautiful, luxurious cottage, with lovely hosts Hayley & Stephen. The secure garden was perfect for our dog and the hot tub was perfect for us! Set on the edge of Alston, an ideal location to tour Cumbria or Northumberland countryside. Each bedroom is en-suite, with very comfortable beds. The Nook is a great choice for families or a group of friends and beautifully decorated throughout. Well worth the drive to find a little peaceful slice of English paradise!

Wonderful cottage, presented to a high standard with a lovely layout, space to spend time together or retreat to own beautiful bedrooms with en-suites. Large towels and robes, as well as welcome package for all guests including dog is a extra nice touch. Great location for exploring the pennines and further afield. Would highly recommend.

The Nook is absolutely beautiful and is equipped with everything you need for a wonderful stay! The owners are very helpful and can provide great recommendations for things to see and do and places to eat. The cottage is decorated to a high standard and the beds are so so comfortable! The garden was perfect for our two cockapoo's, they enjoyed runn ing around as we relaxed in the hut tub.

We stayed over Xmas. Arrived to a decorated and very festive cottage. Amazing welcome pack is provided for humans and dogs. Such a nice touch. This property is luxurious. Roll- top bath - gorgeous after one of the amazing walks. Hot tub is fabulous. Log burner - keeps you snug. Underfloor heating is also nice touch. Spacious for families and groups . We had such a lovely weekend at the cottage. The location is excellent, just a 5 minute walk into the town, and the hot tub was fantastic. The garden was perfect for the dog and fully enclosed. The beds were some of the most comfortable we have ever slept in and the owner was lovely and very helpful. We would definitely recommend.

Fantastic cottage. Beautifully laid out and extremely comfortable. Lovely owners who were welcoming but not intrusive. The local town is quiet with not a lot there but if you're looking for a quiet, get away from it all break, with easy access to walks and lovely countryside, then this is the perfect base.

What can we say apart from WOW WOW WOW the cottage is absolutely beautiful no faults at all very homely has everything you need and more. In lovely quiet setting views from the garden are amazing. The owners are lovely. 5 stars don't seem enough definitely worth alot more
