Chapel Croft Reviews

Joanna
I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming threebedroom holiday let, and I can confidently say it exceeded all my expectations. Nestled in a nice, quiet location, it provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. There is a local shop 1 minute walk away which had a good selection of goods and a local pub 2 minutes walk from the property. Upon arrival, I was immediately impressed by the comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The property was immaculately clean and equipped with everything needed for a fantastic stay from kitchen essentials to cozy linens. Each room was tastefully decorated, creating a warm and welcoming environment. One of the highlights of my stay was the wonderful hot tub. Theres nothing quite like unwinding in the soothing waters while enjoying the serene surroundings. It truly was the cherry on top of an already delightful experience. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or a base to explore the nearby attractions, this holiday let is an ideal choice. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable getaway. Im already looking forward to my next visit!
We had a lovely stay here. The cottage was in a good position for walks with some great ones right from the door. It was well equipped in the kitchen with everything you would need. The oven hob and microwave all easy to use.Nice welcome pack when you arrive. Hot tub a bonus for relaxing in after a good walk. The bed was so comfy we slept better here than at home. The pub in the village the Maypole is worth a visit, we had the steak and Ale pie and it was amazing.
We had a lovely stay, a beautiful cottage in a nice quiet village & lots of places to visit locally, we loved the hot tub!

We enjoyed our stay at Chapel croft. The cottage is very spacious and we were provided with everything that we needed. It was a lovely touch to be provided with robes and slippers for the hot tub. One thing that was missing was wine glasses but there was tumblers and prosecco glasses. Thank you for a very comfortable stay.

Located in the Milnthorpe area of Cumbria we love this local attraction.  With an eclectic mix of fascinating wildlife and hands on displays this centre is educational as well as fun.  You can wander around at leisure admiring the exhibits which range from chameleons to computers. Some of the most threatened species are kept at the park as part if international breeding programmes.  Check out their website for the latest opening times and admission costs which are great value for money.  There are discounts for pre-booked parties of 12 or more.

Happy Mount Park has attractions for the whole family including several play areas, a miniature railway, crazy golf, putting green and trampolines, there is also a paddling pool where the little ones can splash around in the summer and a café where the adults can relax with a drink. During the summer months and especially during school holidays live music can often be enjoyed.
Fountains Abbey - HG4 3DY

This is an outstanding world heritage site located close to Ripon in the North Yorkshire area. Nature lovers will be in their element with an abundance of wide open spaces to explore and there are special guided tours for families.  Some of the highlights may include seeing wild deer and bats during your visit.  The grounds are fantastic to wander round but there is also an Elizabethan Mansion, Victorian Church, Georgian Water Garden and the finest example of Cistercian Abbey ruins in the country - Well worth a visit!
