Pine Lake View Reviews

Jeanette

We loved every minute of it the place was beautiful we were right on the lake what a beautiful view granddaughters loved the hot tub We had our husky with us he loved to watch the swans & ducks in the water Accommodation was so well equipped every thing from condiments to cleaning products will definitely be booking again we met the owner on the day we arrived he was so helpful and nice Thank you for letting us stay xx
The lodge was very well equipped with everything you could think of, including cleaningwashing products, tea coffee, towels, slippers, robes. It was clean, spacious, the hot tub was clean, plenty of space for 6 adults, private, looking out onto the lake, this place is great for all groups including families. Theres a spa pure essence on site which we all used for treatmentswe booked in advanced. We couldnt get into the restaurant until late at night so we went with the chinese that was recommended trungs, which was amazing. All in all was a fantastic get away and would definitely recommend and return in the future. Thank you.
The lodge was booked for a short break with our 10 year old Grandson and friends who have an 11 year old and and under one year old. The communication from the owner from start to finish with comprehensive and clear information about the lodge and the area. On arrival the lodge can only be described as being of an exceptionally high standard and is well equipped throughout with the negative point was not booking a longer stay. The owners should be proud of their high standard and we wish them the very best . We would have no hesitation in booking again and thank the owners for their hospitality.
3 Coniston View surpassed all expectations. We went there well prepared with towels, coffee, tea, condiments and were blown away to see everything we could think of was already there and we were welcome to use them. It is a wonderful property in a lovely location with provisions for everything you could possibly need. A most pleasurable and amazing stay.
Lovely property with great features. Felt like a home. Hosting was by far the best I've experienced. No issues from start to finish. The position of the Lodge right by the waters edge let's you switch off and enjoy the view.

Lakeland Wildlife Oasis - LA6 1JH
about 3 Miles
Located in the Milnthorpe area of Cumbria we love this local attraction.  With an eclectic mix of fascinating wildlife and hands on displays this centre is educational as well as fun.  You can wander around at leisure admiring the exhibits which range from chameleons to computers. Some of the most threatened species are kept at the park as part if international breeding programmes.  Check out their website for the latest opening times and admission costs which are great value for money.  There are discounts for pre-booked parties of 12 or more.
Happy Mount Park - LA4 5AQ
about 6 Miles
Happy Mount Park has attractions for the whole family including several play areas, a miniature railway, crazy golf, putting green and trampolines, there is also a paddling pool where the little ones can splash around in the summer and a café where the adults can relax with a drink. During the summer months and especially during school holidays live music can often be enjoyed.
South Lakes Safari Zoo - LA12 0LU
about 17 Miles

This is an amazing Cumbria attraction well known locally as well as nationally for how close you can get to the animals.  Described as the most interactive animal park in Europe it's well worth a visit if you are staying in the area.  Open from April to end October some of the highlights are the tigers, penguins, bears, hippos and rhinos.  At 2pm during certain seasons it's feeding time so don't forget to plan your day around this so you can watch the animals enjoying their feed.  Look out for seasonal events such as Halloween Zoo Boo (free entry for kids in fancy dress) and The Magic of Christmas.

Bowland Wild Boar Park - PR3 2QT
about 18 Miles
Head for the Bowland Wild Boar park and we don't think you will be disappointed.  A popular attraction in Preston there is so much to do for the whole family.  From picnics, walks and wildlife to experiencing feeding the animals you are sure to have a memorable day out.  Also popular is the kids tractor play area.  For rest and relaxation the cafe is ideal serving hot drinks and snacks with a lovely view over the pond and wildlife feeding station.  The Forest of Bowland has been declared an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Rydal Mount & Gardens - LA22 9LU
about 22 Miles
Rydal Mount & Gardens are wonderfully situated between Lake Windermere and Rydal Water offering breathtaking scenery. The home of William Wordsworth from 1813 - 1850 the grand home is now lived in by the poets descendents but parts of the house and grounds are open to the public. Why not take a guided tour and see the rooms where many of the famous poems were written. The gardens are beautiful at all times of the year but in the summer offer a spectacular display of colour. There is also a gallery and a tearoom. Discounts are available for group bookings.
Ullswater Steamers - CA11 0US
about 28 Miles
This is an award winning Lake District attraction and they have been operating cruisers on Lake Ullswater for over 150 years.  There is no better way to explore the lakes than on water and you could even combine a cruise with a spectacular walk.  For great days out in this region then this attraction is highly recommended and will appeal to couples as well as families.  Corporate groups are also well catered for.
