Wysteria Reviews

Annette
A fabulous place to stay Everything was perfect and the chocolates and wine on ... A fabulous place to stay Everything was perfect and the chocolates and wine on revival were an added little touch Not far to visit Beverley for the day Would definitely book again
When we arrived we were to stay in Magnolia but the ensuite facilities were not as listed so fortunately as there was another similar property we were able to move. I dont know if the incorrect wording of the first property was on Sykes or the owner but we were especially looking for two ensuites and thats why we booked Magnolia, also it had chairs to suit my sister which the second property didnt have. The wording has since been changed. Also the second bedroom in Wysteria is very dark even during the day, having no windows and no ventilation. We actually bought a small torch so that we could see at night when getting up to use the loo.
The stay was perfect! We booked last minute and arrived the next day. Wysteria is a beautiful cottage, very clean and stylish! The hot tub is an excellent addition, and it was lovely to sit and watch the horses. Ian and Debbie were helpful and accommodating. We were greeted with a lovely bottle of wine & chocolates and on the day we left a little goodie bag was left outside with snacks for travelling. We can't wait to go back!
The accommodation was beautiful. Tastefully decorated and clean. Plenty of towels which we needed due to having the hot tub. The garden was lovely. We got to watch the horses training to jump over obstacles. We received a lovely welcome a box of chocolates and a bottle of wine as well as snacks for the way home when we left. I also got my nails done by Olivia & Co Beauty who is located just next door above the gift shop. We went to three different lovely beaches during our stay. Overall we had a wonderful break.
Wysteria was a very nice property to stay in whilst visiting family super clean and well appointed. The owners are very helpful and gave us generous welcome and departing edible gifts. The second bedroom does not have a window but this is compensated by the beautiful adjacent bathroom. Please provide a vegetable peeler I peeled carrots with a knife in the otherwise well equipped kitchen. We had a delightful last evening because the wedding that took place nearby had an amazing firework display, for which we had a superb view.

What a beautiful cottage. It was so peaceful and quiet, with fantastic views over the horse fields. Very modern and with everything we needed. The hosts Ian and Debbie were very welcoming, even leaving us welcome and leaving gifts. In a message with Ian we mentioned that we were staying for our mini moon, on opening the fridge we found another lovely gift of a bottle of Prosecco and a congratulations gift tag all the little extra things werent needed but really appreciated, thank you. It was easy enough to get to other places from here, with shops and eating out places close enough to walk to. We will certainly be returning and encouraging friends and family to visit aswell. We absolutely loved our stay at Willerby Hill Hideaways.

Great place, great setting, totally had the best weekend away here
Best holiday cottage I have ever stayed in. Owners were lovely and very helpful and cottage was a real home from home. Facilities were second to none and the welcome basket was so gratefully received. Secluded and peaceful with a wonderful view onto equestrian facilities. Can honestly say I would happily stay here again and would thoroughly recommend.
Property was lovely, well kept and clean. We could happily come back for another visit! The little gift basket on arrival and departure was really thoughtful too. Hot tub was warm on arrival. Multiple shops were a quick 2 minute drive and there were a handful of board games to keep us busy on the rainy days. There was a hairdryer, hot water bottles, a handheld vacuum under the sink and as many towels as you could ever need. Waking up to see horses just behind the garden was unexpected but something to look forward to every day. My only 'complaints' were that the knives aren't the sharpest and there were no cleaning sprays just to clean up after cooking, however I know it's difficult to trust people with sharp objects and chemicals! Also no thermostat for the central heating ? however nothing major at all. Thank you for a great stay!
We stayed at Wysteria for 1 week Friday to Friday for our staycation, and we cannot fault one thing at all. We were greeted on arrival by owner Ian who was very friendly and he showed us around the lodge etc which was very helpful. We was presented with a welcome basket which was a nice touch. Plenty of towels plus dressing gowns and slippers which was very useful for coming out of the hot tub, the hot tub was also ready on arrival and we was also shown how to adjust temp, jets and lights. Beautifuly decorated very elegant and clean, the sofa was very comfortable to lounge on and very relaxing. Upon leaving Ian gave us a gift bag with drinks and crisps in for the journey home which again was a nice touch. Would highly reccomend staying here you will not be disspaointed.
Property as described and pictured. I rarely post comments but found this to be a lovely property.Spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated.
Richard
Beautiful property, very clean and provided with a lovely welcome hamper on arrival and a goody bag on the day of departure. Lots of towels and robes which was great. The only negative was the hot tub wasnt ready the first night we got there which was disappointing but wouldnt put me off returning.
Nicola
Fantastic stay at wysteria cottage, would definitely return. The cottage was lovely and clean and the owners left us a welcome hamper which was really thoughtful and gave us some snacks and drinks on our departure. A nice personal touch. The cottage is nice and peaceful but within a short drive to local amenities.
Alison
What a beautiful cottage! Ideal for me as I have arthritis and there was only 1 small step at the entrance. I love horses so it was a bonus to be able to watch them in the arena and hear them whinny in their paddocks in the distance. No expense has been spared here Our host Olivia greeted us and could not have been kinder or more generous We were given a huge hamper and all the essentials plus lots of treats. She even left us a bag of goodies for our journey home. It was spotless throughout. Needless to say we'll be back to Wisteria soon
Caitlin
My partner and I have stayed at a handful of cottages and this has been the best by far. The interior of the cottage was gorgeous and the hot tub was nice and private. The hosts were so lovely and helpful too. We had such a good bank holiday weekend here and would love to come back sometime soon! Thank you for the lovely stay.
