We stayed with our friends and their dogs for a long weekend at the Stables. Humans could relax in the hottub and the dogs relaxed in front of the fireplace after running around at the beaches. What a great location and we definitely will be back.

What an amazing find this was! The cottage was well equipped with everything you could ever need and was super clean. Vicky and Richard are the most wonderful hosts you could ask for. Nothing was too much trouble. The four mornings we were there we went and fed the animals and my daughter was over the moon to find a freshly laid egg and then have iRead moret cooked for her breakfast: If you want to get away from everything and make the most of all the wonderful facilities, this is the place for you! Lovely cottage and even better surroundings. Our kids loved helping Richard and Vicky feed the animals every morning and they were brilliant hosts who could not have been more friendly and helpful. Venn Farm was first class. The accommodation was roomy and comfortable. The owner took time out and showed us around the farm and how to use the equipment. When we walked in it smelt wonderful. They stocked up on things like bin bags washing up liquid cloths t towels etc. The owners really put thought into making it feel comfortable. Definitely use the bbq hut it's brilliant and so spacious. The hot tub was massive we loved it. Definitely recommend

We stayed here for a week with 3 dogs. The cottage was amazing, lots of space, everything needed was provided, comfy beds, relaxing hot tub, private courtyard at the back was very secure. Enjoyed meeting the animals, especially the pigs, always came up to say hello. The woods and lake were so peaceful, lots of wildlife. Owners on site were on hand for any queries and Vicky's home baked cakes were fabulous! Location is a great base to see Devon and go in to Cornwall, we will be back next year
Debbie
If you want peace and quite this place is for you. The accommodation has everything you need and more. As a complete novice of fishing I caught a fish in the first 20 mins so the little lake is well stocked and no day charge for fishing either. The kids will love the play area and the animals. Couldn't recommend it any more

Lovely comfortable cottage in a quiet location but close enough to the coast. Lovely walks around the cottages and farm and the games room an added bonus. Richard and Vicky were lovely hosts and my grandson loved feeding the animals. Great place for all ages.
Helen
Beautiful picturesque property and facilities that are well maintained, spotless and well equipped. Loved the games room! A nice short walk around the property through the woods and around the small lake area. Very remote, so need to drive to see anything more.
Jackie
The most beautiful holiday for all the family. Enjoyed the peace and quiet, not too far from the beach. Owners friendly and helpful, we all felt really comfortable. Son enjoys fishing and had the lake to himself, some good catchers. Just what we all needed to unwind and recharge our batteries. Spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. BBQ was used 6 nights, really enjoyed the outside area and lazy spa. Highly recommend accommodations to families and couples. Dogs also gave the thumbs up
Helen
We had a lovely time at West Venn cottages ( we hired three of the four available cottages). The daily feeding sessions were a real highlight for our children. They also loved the games room. The hot tub, which was recently added to Horseshoe Cottages, was a lovely bonus. Richard and Vicky were very good at ensuring the hot tub was checked on a dai ly basis. The cottages were really clean and well equipped and the views from the grounds were beautiful. We hope to return again one day.
Roy
We had a weeks holiday there with three dogs and really enjoyed it.
