The pictures dont SunAlways justice. The cottage is everything you could need. The surrounding grounds were perfect for kids & dogs alike. The pool was super clean and well maintained and the games room a brilliant bonus on the rainy days. The well equipped kitchen has everything you need, the welcome bottle of wine was a lovely touch & the grounds man (Barry) was really helpful and welcoming. Smythen Farm is beautiful! It is well located within easy reach of the gorgeous beaches & theres lots to do nearby. After a busy days activities, there is plenty to keep the children occupied on site. The facilities are amazing. There is a games room with table tennis, table football, pool and air hockey. Everything is in good working order. There is also a well maintained, safe outdoor play area. The icing on the cake is the large swimming pool and sauna. Perfect family holiday!

Exmoor Zoo is described as a "family zoo" on their website and it certainly makes a great day out for families. There are many exotic and rare animals as well as birds to see which are living in natural surroundings. Some recent improvements at the zoo include a new 5 metre tower at the cheetahs and raised walkways at the "beast". There is also a new viewing platform over the sitatunga. As well as the amazing animals to experience there are regular fun activities such as face painting, daily events and zoo trails.
