This comfortable, quirky cottage is amazing. The farm itself is fascinating (especially at lambing time) and beautiful wild countryside around wonderful for walkers, runners and photographers alike. Wow this place was fantastic we went as a family of 14 to celebrate a 40th birthday. The adults and children all loved the house. The house has everything you need, there is plenty of space for everyone. Bedrooms are very comfortable again with plenty of space. 10 ladies on their annual weekend away - such a lovely house, well equipped and luxurious. A lovely area to stay in, we walked locally and also visited Abergavenny, Crickhowell and Hay on Wye, all lovely towns and interesting to walk around. Cantref Adventure Farm offers hours of indoor and outdoor fun for the whole family. Inside there is a huge soft play area with a separate area for toddlers as well as ball pools, climbing frames, slides and chutes. The Cannon balls are a big hit with children of all ages. New for 2010 is the Badgers quest interactive maze. Outside there is a play area, large boating lake with paddle boats, nature trails with clues and quizzes and an agility course. Lama Trekking at Old king Street Farm - NP16 6AA

Lamas are gentle, affectionate and unique animals and Lama Trekking is fast becoming a popular family attraction. At Old king Street Farm you can spend the day with the charming creatures and enjoy feeding them, grooming them and having a stroll through the woodland. Lamas are not ridden but they can carry all the picnic essentials including tables and chairs! Lama Treks around the stunning Black Mountains are also available.

Queenswood Country Park has a stunning location offering panoramic views of the countryside.
