Could have been cleaner and better equipped

We stayed with my parents and 2 children (3.5yrs and 4mo). It was definitely not big enough for 4 adults and we struggled for space. You have to pull the table out to use it which meant the kitchen was unusable. Beds were super comfy but unfortunately the place is very tired and didnt appear to have been cleaned properly. Was glad baby isnt crawlinRead moreg yet. We had to ask for more crockery and there was one 1 frying pan - worth baring in mind. Complex was lovely though, great staff and facilities Hide

We had a delightful stay in this sweet cottage. The beds were comfy, staff were friendly and helpful. The whole holiday park vibe was a joy. Fantastic location 3/4 minutes from the beach, and so useful having quality on-site shop and pub/restaurant. All the family enjoyed this stay immensely.. Possible negative points- no WiFi in the cottage, and pRead moreeople will need reasonable fitness to access the steep stairs on the cliff. Hide

Gorgeous! Had such an amazing holiday! Loved having a dishwasher and washing machine and the site was gorgeous and well loved. Hot tub was amazing. Checked daily by polite site maintenance. Sheila in the shop was lovely! Friendly staff in reception. Obviously looked after employees. Park was ace and steps to the beach.

Fantastic location for a relaxing stay particularly if you have dogs as the beach is so close. We were a group of 6 adults with 3 dogs between us so we booked Sycamore & Oak cottages together which worked well. A few additional items in the kitchen would help when preparing meals. The hot tub was a bonus, although we didnt all use it it was nice toRead more have the option. Hide

Absolutely lovely little cottage. Immaculately clean and the kitchen was well stocked with all equipment you need when cooking. No mobile phone signal at all which I found bliss but might not be ideal for some although there is free Wi-Fi at the restaurant. Most wonderful relaxing holiday thank you. Hot tub so nice
Lucy
We were pleased with the cottage it was very cosy and offered good accommodation as a family of 4. The hot tub was a must although it is restricted and only set to max 37 so really just like a bath. The lack of Wi-Fi was an issue and lack of usable onsite facilities, the restaurant needs to be booked In advance and food shopping was not close so go prepared. We had to travel further afield to shop/ eat and it was difficult without Wi-Fi to plan etc
Victoria
We enjoyed a lovely and relaxing week away. The cottage had everything we needed. The hot tub was great to relax in after a long walk. The food at the restaurant was of fantastic quality and choice. The kids loved the play area and enclosed football area. The beach was amazing less than 5 mins from the front door. We enjoyed a few walks locally. Th is was a well needed chilled get away.
Julie
Lovely property with all the essentials. Great location No WiFi from the house and not a great signal from data in the house, so if u need that as essential, may not be best location. Hot tub great, but unable to turn temperature up. Great base for Southwold and aldeburgh. Would go to that holiday park again
Ingrid
Lovely cosy cottage in peaceful setting. Comfortable beds. Appreciated large fluffy towels. Grest access to deserted beach and fab hot tub. Pleasant restaurant witb good food and attentive friendly staff. Only downside was downstairs bathroom but we were aware of that when booking. Would certainly use again.
Lou
Clean, tidy and homely. Although absolutely no wifi or signal. Whilst having a smart TV, there is no internet connection to watch it.
Keith
Very clean and tidy but rather small

Africa Alive - NR33 7TF
about 11 Miles
Africa Alive is one of Suffolk's largest attractions and one of the most popular in the whole of the UK.  The Africa themed park is very unique and gives visitors the chance to see some amazing creatures in a habitat which is as close to nature as possible. The park can be explored by car and on foot and Hyenas and Giraffes are just some of the animals you will encounter as you make your way around the park. Watch out for the lightning fast Cheetahs and keep your eyes peeled to spot the more reclusive creatures. During a day at Africa Alive there will be plenty of shows and educational talks taking place and if the weather turns then the indoor Adventure Play Ground comes in very handy. The site also has a well stocked Gift Shop and a Discovery Centre.
Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park - NR32 4TZ
about 17 Miles
Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park is an amazing 50 acres area of stunning coastal parkland and is packed with family friendly rides and attractions. This park is an excellent choice for families with children of varied ages as there are a number of small rides for the little ones as well as some adrenaline boosting white knuckle rides for teenagers. As well as rides the site hosts some fantastic shows including the ever popular Sea Lion and Parrot encounters. At Halloween, Christmas and Easter other themed shows can also be enjoyed.  The site also has a good range of places to eat and drink whether you are looking to spend a leisurely hour relaxing with a meal or just grab a quick snack.
Suffolk Owl Sanctuary - IP28 6HX
about 21 Miles
This amazing owl sanctuary located in the Stowmarket area of Suffolk should be high on your list of places to visit in the area.  The attraction is also a registered charity and carries out important work in the care & rehabilitation of owls from the region.  The sanctuary also raises awareness of owl conservation throughout the UK.  Between April and the end of September there are two superb flying displays each day so you should try and make your visit coincide with one of these displays if you can.
Banham Zoo - NR16 2HE
about 28 Miles
This award winning wildlife attraction has much to offer both families and couples looking for a fun and educational day out.  You can discover a whole wild world of animals with over 1000 different animals from around the world. You will probably want to try and spend the whole day here so you don's miss out on anything.  Highlights include the amazing animals presentation, the birds of prey display and the feeding talks, all of which take place at set times of the day.  This attraction is fantastic value for money and highly recommended.  Their latest event is the Snow Leopard Club Naming Auction and there has recently been a baby giraffe born at the zoo.
