What a wonderful find. Perfect location, lovely accommodation and the hot tub with the fantastic view was incredible (spent every evening in it). We really didn't want to go home. The bed was incredibly comfortable, best 4 nights sleep we've both had for ages. A great place to explore all that The Forest of Dean has to offer, with walks from the coRead morettage. The owners were really helpful in recommending places to eat. Would highly recommend a stay, we were so relaxed staying here. Hide

Simply as good as it gets, the scenery, the hospitality by Elaine and Phil, the facilities were all second to none. We only managed to stay for a bank holiday weekend and didn't even make a dent in the range of activities there is to do in the local area. So 100% will be booking again!
Adrian
Very well kept, clean and tidy, owners where lovely, very helpful.
Nicole
What a stay. And what a view from the fabulous hot tub, it seems to get better as the sun sets and after a few glasses of bubbly! We had a fantastic stay here in the aptly-named Horseshoe View cottage which overlooks the bends in the River Severn. There are some lovely walks through the forest about 3 minutes North of the property with plenty of ro utes to explore. The location is also well suited to accessing walks in the surrounding Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Lovely holiday!

We chose Horseshoe Cottage View cottage for our Silver Wedding. We spent a fabulous week in a romantic, peaceful and comfortable cottage. Elaine and Phil were the perfect hosts, and always on hand to offer advice about an area they know so well. We mixed eating in and dining out because the kitchen was so well equipped. The rest of the cottage was superbly furnished and the hot tub a lovely place to chill on the hottest day in the UK ever. For us, we made friends for life and will return.
Wendy
