Elaine and Phil really do make you feel welcome; they’re lovely hosts. The lodge is spot on, with fantastic views over the countryside from the front terrace - it’s quite peaceful. The place is well kitted out and comfy. We had great Wi-Fi and decent mobile signal too. Perfect for forest walks right on the doorstep and only a 15-minute stroll into Cinderford town centre. The hot tubs on the terrace are a nice touch, although only one is pet friendly, which was a bit of a bummer.

We really enjoyed staying here, the views are stunning and the hot tub was a lovely touch. The cottage itself was super comfy and thoughtfully designed, making our stay very pleasant. The only downside was that most places we wanted to visit were across the River Severn, which made the journey a bit longer. Still, the owners clearly put a lot of care into the placeand it made our holiday special. Thanks again and best of luck for the future!
