The Gables Reviews

Eric Geoffrey Paul
An excellent stay in an excellent property with stunning views. Thank you.
We are a family of 8 and spent half term Lancashire at the Gables. We had a great week. We haven't previously stayed in the Cotswolds, but will definitely return soon. The property was perfect for our needs, very comfortable, plenty of space, warm and the kind of place you look forward to returning to at the end of each day. Lisa, the owner, very contactable and helpful, approachable. The area is stupendous for views and sight seeing visits. We struggled initially with driving in the narrow lanes, but, minor issue and soon overcome once we got the hang.
What a lovely home with such outstanding views! The views are absolutely stunning and everything provided was fresh and spotlessly clean. We didnt want for anything! I like that the pots had been planted for a touch of Autumn colour it shows that the house is well cared for inside and out. Lisa was very accommodating and communicative throughout. We shall definitely be booking to stay again.
Lovely house with super views over the valley. Very clean and well equipped. Hot tub was a hit. Good base for exploring the Cotswolds.
Angela
The property was lovely, comfortable and it has gorgeous views from its raised position across the valley. It was exceptionally clean, has good facilities and is well presented. Communication on booking, arrival and throughout our stay was easy and helpful. Taller family members did have to watch out for low beams upstairs and eye masks were provided as very light in the bedrooms from the high windows. Neither of these detracted from a lovely property, we would happily go back. Thank you for our stay.
Most comfortable holiday let. Splendid views overlooking countryside Extremely well equipped in every department of our stay.Owners very helpful with information. Most enjoyable holiday had by all. Thank you.
Lindsay

Great snug for the kids packed with games and an excellent equipped kitchen for the grownups not to mention relaxing in the hotub under a stary sky. Well placed for visiting the Cotswolds and a nice walk to the local pub. Can recommend the Sunday roast.

Fantastic property in a beautiful location. Clean and spacious with all of the conveniences that you will need whilst away from home. Gardens are very well maintained and provide a wonderful setting to sit and enjoy the views. Dog friendly and very responsive owners if you need to ask a question...we couldn't ask for more. Would certainly recommend.
Joannah
The Gables is a really amazing property with the most fantastic views in a stunning location. Weve just spend a wonderful long weekend there together as a family and cant recommend it highly enough. Thank you so much!
Maggie
Had a lovely time at The Gables over Xmas. Very well equipped, immaculately clean and although quite a large house, still cosy and the views are amazing from most rooms. The hot tub was an absolute boon for drizzly and chilly late afternoons after a walk. There are nice walks from the house. The pub in the village was great. Owners are very attentive and left a lovely basket of goodies for us. Thank you.
