Pauline
Lovely place only 2 things I didnt like the mattress was stained and didnt like to pay the extra 50 for the hot tub should be included in price as that was expensive. But lovely place
Charlotte
Cottage stay were fine, no problems occurred. Lovely hot tub and great area to explore. We did leave a couple of things at the cottage and asked the owner to post back to us and paid for the postage. The owner read the messages but completely ignored us and didnt reply and never posted our belongings either.

Kaitkyella Lodge is a wonderful getaway,we love it and stayed many times. Peace and quiet mixed with the ability to get around easily. Views are fabulous from the back and the hot tub with the farm animals putting in an appearance from time to time. Could do with a wheely bin with a lid out the front to prevent any spills from wind. Well done to all for a great stay again, see you all again next year. Thankyou.
Wonderful property. so sorry we could not stay longer. hopefully we can go again.

We just loved our stay here. It was so peaceful, and the property is so spacious, private and comfortable. The full wall of windows overlooking the valley give magical views. We enjoyed watching the proud Canada Geese parents, with their six little goslings, parading around the pond and the field. Also Moorhens with chicks. The garden is sheltered, but gets afternoon and evening sun. Perfect for a BBQ and a glass of wine. It's perfectly placed for exploring the East Coast, and so close to all the little coastal villages and towns. We had a different beach walk every day, for a week. Lots of pubs nearby, with great food, and friendly staff and customers. I shall be recommending to our friends!!
Overall a very nice cottage in a lovely setting, very well presented and as ... Overall a very nice cottage in a lovely setting, very well presented and as described except there is no fire, crockery could do with replacing but otherwise a very pleasant stay
Andrea
Cottage was lovely, cosy and comfy. I just felt it was lacking extra towels for the hot tub only having 2 for a week and sharing it with hot tub and shower especially when you have shower before hot tub and after, no robes or outside shoes again most I have visited supply these as walking through the property with wet feet. Lack of kitchen supplies, no welcome hamper which again first time I have had nothing, milk or bread would of been nice to keep us going. No spare bin bags and no instructions on where to place rubbish, only one bin outside but 2 recyclable inside? No hand soap in the bathroom but moisturiser? Upstairs remote blinds batteries not working in the remote control. 2 other controls on the fireside but nothing to say for what? Fire mentioned in description on Sykes info but no fire.
A great home and location. Hot tub was lovely, great views, butcher shop too was great. Everything you could ask for.
Property is situated in a lovely area , and the property itself is just perfect for a getaway especially if you go just as a couple . Will definitely be booking again .
Shirley
Kitchen area was not well equiped, ie no scissors and only 1 tea towel. More bathing towels are needed in light of the hot tub. Some hooks to hang coats would have been helpful. The hot tub was lovely and well maintained we did enjoy our stay and only point out these things in the hope of being helpful. Thank you.
Graham
It was a great cottage with a hot tub with fantastic views, because you are part of a farm they have a fantastic butchers the meats were high quality but the prices very cheap.
Deborah
We love this lodge! Our second time staying and a perfect base. The hot tub views across the farm are beautiful and the property is set up in such a way it feel spacious in summer especially with the doors open into the outside area, but is also super cosy when the sun goes down and in the colder months our previous stay was October the buzz of activity on the farm and in the butchers across the yard is lovely but you wouldnt know it is there when your in the very private garden and hot tub. Youre in a very short drive of all the activities in Scarborough. We especially enjoyed Alpamere water park and a day in York but ventured out most nights to eat. We will be back again without doubt!

Beautiful lodge with a fantastic view! All amenities and great hot tub. The farm butchers was an added bonus and our daughter loved the visit from the cows every day lol. Good location to day trip from and the hosts were extremely friendly and very helpful. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again. Thank you very much!!!! A
Belinda
We have just returned from a very relaxing few days break. The cottage is just as described with stunning views. The hot tub is a very welcome after a the long walks we had been on. The farm is in a little way out of Scarborough itself, but can be walked to easily enough. We also walked down to the bus stop and hopped onto a bus to Robin hoods bay. All in all a very welcome relaxing break.
Enjoyable stay in a great location, nice & private too. The weather was fabulous which meant a lot of flies, not ideal but it is a farm after all. Would have liked more plates & cutlery etc so we didnt have to put dishwasher on every day.
Amanda
Absolutely loved our stay. Peaceful and private. Great location, perfect views from the hot tub
Maxine
The lodge was very spacious and comfortable for either a couple or a couple with a young family. It has most amenities there to provide for a couple or small family and GSH should the evenings get a bit chilly. The hot tub was a welcome relief after all our walking and the bed was super comfortable to sleep in too.
Beautiful location ,lovely accomadation and contact with owners excellent.
Ashleigh
Absolutely loved our stay here, Very clean and spacious. It has a stunning view from the hot tub. It has everything you need we didnt have any problems what so ever. We will 100 be returning.
If you want a chilled relaxing break, this is the place to go, and only 5 min drive from center if you want to venture out. Stunning place, views from hot tub are fantastic, spotlessly clean, everything provided. We will be returning
Ferdous
It was such a lovely place to stay, my partner enjoyed the hot tub view and we were pleased with how clean the house was definitely going to rebook again soon.
Lovely property although Was extremely cold when first arrived and no fire like advertised in the description and welcome book? ? But soon warmed up after first night. Hot tub views amazing, lovely to sit and look out to the countryside.
Beautiful location and very peaceful stay in a lovely cottage.
Michael
Thank you, the stay was fantastic. I would highly recommend for any couple or small family for a little relaxation time. The views are outstanding and the property is to the highest standard. We wish we could have stayed longer, but we will be back in the near future. Thank you again..
Alison
A lovely place to relax. The property was really nicely done out. The hot tub was nice and had a beautiful view. Really enjoyed our stay.
Abigail
Our stay at the lodge was amazing! It is a beautiful property, fully kitted out and kept absolutely immaculate. We had the most comfortable and relaxing weekend possible, I cant wait to visit again!
Ghafur
It would be good to know that next door is used as a wedding venue. This can be very noisy with loud music and lots of people celebrating till late into the night. So if you were looking for a quiet break away, this can be quiet annoying. Also the hot tub is not aa private as it can be.
Andrew
A lovely lodge on the end of the Tea Rooms just next door. Everything you needed was provided, from Gas BBQ to Hot Tub and outside eating area with table and chairs. The large folding doors to the rear of the lodge enables you to extend the lounge area into the well kept private rear garden weather permitting
Beautiful cottage with amazing scenery, Great location and the tea rooms next door provided really lovely food we had a wonderful roast lunch and the breakfasts were very tasty. Staff were lovely. Butchers across the courtyard was handy for food and the bbq pack was good value. Some minor points Cottage wasnt 100 clean when we arrived as the floors felt dirty on our feet and the sofas and footstool in need of a good clean really comfy but looking quite stained. Cushions quite prickly due to feathers poking out. Kitchen ideally needs a freezer and bigger fridge as well as more worktop space to make it more usable as staying for a week we struggled for buying meals to keep us going as nowhere to store them and also needed more cooking space. Pint glasses would also be useful too for larger drinks as the ones provided were quite small. Farm is located on a road so traffic is noticeable and farm was noisy at times throughout the night. Welcome pack could do with more information about what to do in the area and also provide instructions on check out as we didnt know what to do about keys and bins etc but otherwise an absolutely beautiful place and would be happy to stay again one day.
Danielle
We loved our stay over bank holiday weekend the cottage and the views were amazing, especially from the hot tub which was ready to use on our arrival. Perfect location for us to explore Scarborough with our little boy just a short drive away. We even got to cuddle the lambs. Staff in the tea rooms very accommodating the farmer very friendly and welcoming. Would love to return!
Andrew
Absolutely loved the stay, highlight of the stay was the little lambs running through the yard. Views are incredible, already got friends and family looking to book!
We had a fantastic stay, our hosts were really welcoming and helpful. The view from our hot tub was really special. We also enjoyed the use of the cafe and farm shop all on site. It was a really good location to explore this lovely bit of Yorkshire. Highly recommended
A fantastic venue, hugely convenient. Would highly recommend.
Absolutely lovely 3 night stay at Kaitkyella lodge. We had fantastic weather and spent most of each evening in the hot tub. Really relaxing weekend. Had a bbq on the Friday with meat from the onsite butchers. Great place and views!
Gerard
We had a lovely stay, the lodge was great. maybe put hooks or a shelf next to the shower for towels but everything else was great. Many thanks and we may well see you again.
A lovely lodge situated with stunning views. The on site Tea room and Butchers were a massive added bonus. Great time had by all
Sharon
This lodge is lovely, views are breathtaking. Relaxing is just what you need after a busy work life. Me and my partner had a amazing time and would come here again
We cannot fault or time at Kaitkyella Lodge, it was a beautiful lodge with amazing views especially from the hot tub, the team rooms on site were lovely and everything was only a ten minute drive away. It was ideal for the relaxing and peaceful getaway we wanted, would definitely recommend!

Betton Farm Visitor Centre is the ideal attraction close to the North Yorkshire coastal town of Scarborough. This animal farm has all the cute farm animals you would expect to see and will appeal to younger children especially.  A great place to both play and learn we think the Betton Farm Visitor centre is great value for money.  Check out their website for the latest opening times and admission costs.  Some of the highlights of the day might include meeting Sofie the Shetland Pony and Henry the goat, as well as the pot bellied pigs called Porky and Hammy.

This centre is one of the regions most popular attractions and is educational as well as fun. Visitors will enjoy a journey beneath the waves, meeting many strange, beautiful and fascinating creatures of the deep. As well as mighty sharks and beautiful rays guests can get up close to some more common creatures including star fish and can also meet the otters, seals and penguins at feeding time. The site also has children's play area and picnic tables as well as a restaurant and souvenir shop.
