This comfortable cottage has lots of character and also all modern appliances. It is set in beautiful gardens and is in an excellent location for visiting many places of interest, by the sea or inland.

A lovely well equipped cottage situated in an ideal location for many tourist attractions. The owners were very friendly and welcoming.
Christine
It was a lovely cottage, well-equipped, nice furniture, nice bathroom with good shower; excellent welcome pack; lovely gardens. 2 problems for us: the only window in the bedroom is a Velux which automatically closes, fairly noisily, when it rains. So, no ventilation and bedroom becomes hot and stuffy. The hot tub was super but there is a tall chimnRead moreey near, always smoking, and I was bothered by it when the wind was in our direction. I am very sensitive, so may well not affect others. Hide

Ralph
A fantastic property and Katrina made us feel very welcome. Hot tub was fab and we loved the space and the proximity to beaches and things to do. There's a lovely pub a short walk away and plenty to do within 30 minutes. Just hanging out at the property is also wonderful, as it's such a great space for a young family.

Sophie
A lovely cottage in a beautiful setting. It was furnished everything we could have wanted and the hot tub was a real treat! The owners were friendly and welcoming.
Trevor
The cottage was beautiful, well equipped for cooking etc, the grounds around the cottage were well kept. The only problem we had was noise from the farm. For three of the days there was intermittent cutting of block paving blocks which wasnt too bad but on our last day there was a lot of grinding and hammering for about 2.5 hours which wasnt at all pleasant. I realise it is a working farm but wasnt expecting heavy engineering noises
Anne
Beautiful property with every amenity you could wish for. Special touches such as the welcome pack with freshly baking bread are an added extra. Katrina the owner is an excellent host, friendly and welcoming.

We had a fabulous holiday in a fantastic cottage. It is excellently equipped with everything you might possibly need for a family holiday. The welcome pack with freshly made bread was also a lovely touch. The hosts were very friendly, we were made to feel very at home on arrival and reassured that nothing would be any trouble if we needed anything. The grounds are beautiful also! The locality is superb, very near to the coast and many fun days out to be had. We would definitely return here again

Hunmanby beach and Castle Howard were our favourite places to visit but Scarborough and Filey are within easy reach and also have lots to offer. We would certainly return to the cottage again.

Maze Cottage is a gorgeous cottage, very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Very comfortable beds and a great shower in the master en-suite! Well equipped kitchen and comfortable dining/lounge area, and the private outdoor garden area with the hot tub was a big hit! Situated in a lovely rural area, anywhere we visited was at least a 20-minute dr ive. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend this as a lovely quiet holiday base.

Eline
Very nice and quiet area. Lovely cottage, spacious un beautiful. Had a nice and relaxing mini holiday. Hot tub area is secluded, hence very enjoyable and you do not have to worry about someone seeing you, which in my opinion is a big plus.
Susan
We had a lovely stay at the Granary, with friends for New Year, the cottage was cosy, warm and very comfortable. The Prosecco and bread baking in the bread-maker were lovely touches. The hot tub was amazing after a number of long and very muddy walks. Would highly recommend a stay here
Alistair
A beautiful cottage surrounded by beautiful landscaped grounds, freshly baked bread, a super welcome pack, perfect hot tub a very relaxing break, we visited Castle Howard - "Narnia Xmas" amazing not to be missed, also Malton, Whitby and Flamborough Head all within an hour of property.
Stephanie
What an amazing place! We stayed for a long weekend in October and everything had been thought of to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We enjoyed fresh bread on arrival, with locally sourced marmalade, which was an absolute pleasure as were the other goodies in the Welcome Pack (milk, eggs, cake and local beer). We stayed in The Granary with the hot tub which was amazing. Towels, robes and 'spa' slippers were provided. Everything was spotless. We would highly recommend this property.
Amanda
A lovely cottage in a pretty setting very quiet and peaceful, however it is 20-30 minutes from a supermarket and restaurants, with the exception of the Anvil this you must visit for a drink and food, delicious food and plentiful at a good price, all staff were the friendliest we had ever met.
