Hunrosa Reviews

Brilliant just love this place . Clean relaxing friendly just carnt fault it .
Nicola
Excellent lodge with all that you need for your stay. Welcome gift of wine and flowers along with the few tea bags and coffee pouches was a thoughtful gesture. The lodge was clean and comfortable and the hot tub was regularly checked and maintained. The park is in an ideal location for exploring all Cornwall has to offer!
Loved our stay at Hunrosa. Very comfortable and had everything we needed. The hot tub was lovely! Excellent base for exploring Cornwall.
Lovely, clean and comfortable place to stay. Great location in easy reach of the village if needed. The flowers, milk and wine were a nice touch on arrival. Everything worked fine, shower and heating were both good. We even mastered the much feared cooker! Hot tub was great and very clean. Altogether a very nice and cosy place to stay.
Comfortable, Compact and in a peaceful location
This is a very quiet location just outside of Redruth. No facilities on the site, except for laundry, but we used it as a base to travel out to nearby attractions. The lodge is comfortable, and beds were to a good standard. It was nice to have a hot tub, and its positioning afforded privacy. There is a shop, off licence and pharmacy in the nearby village - within walking distance. But mostly, you will need a car to travel about and see beaches, etc.
The property is really nice and comfortable. The flowers, wine and milk were thoughtful. I think this is the only place I've stayed in when there was no salt or pepper. No other condiments left. Other people had mentioned that the cooker and hob were very confusing to use and we have to agree. No instructions on using it, took us a while to work out what was going on. If you have an electric hob at home you may be OK but we don't and we struggled. The beds were comfortable and the towels were really nice too. The only gripe for me personally is that the sofa was way too low. I need a hip replacement and wasn't able to sit on it because it's too low so I just sat on the armchair. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend.
The accommodation was spotless on arrival everything was perfect. The hot tub was very clean with no foam which was a pleasant surprise. Well maintained and the location was great for us. Only thing was the cooker and oven were a bit tricky to start off with but I got my head round it. Would i recommend, most definitely. The owner was always on hand and nothing is too much trouble. The park itself is spotless and very quiet. 1010 without hesitation
We had a lovely week away here and I would defiantly recommend
A lovely lodge. Comfortable and quiet. Great location and Nathan was very helpful on arrival. Unable to use or access wifi and couldnt see where to obtain the password. Use of an iron and ironing board would have been beneficial.
IHunrosa was a lovely place to stay. It wS exceptionally clean and tidy. It had everything you could possibly want from good quality towels and bedding to a cheese grater. The hot tub was a welcome site which we used at the end of each day..our stay was good value and close to lots of places to visit. The welcome gifts were a lovely surprise which meant there was no urgency to go out shopping straight away. Thank you
A lovely secuded Lodge with in a well kept site and very welcoming Hosts.
The property was lovely. Nathan and his dad were friendly on arrival, during and exit and kept us updated with anything we needed to know. The lodge was spotless with comfy beds and furniture. Flowers, wine, teabags and milk provided on arrival which was a really nice touch. The hot tub was an added bonus and it was great to jump in after a full day exploring cornwall. This place is right in the middle and a half hour drive from all main places. Nice village with 2 shops and main shops down the road. Thank you for a lovely, peaceful week.
The property was amazing, everything was laid out for an easy check in and we felt very welcome from the first minute. There was a chilled out vibe and would recommend to anyone who wants to escape the hectic everyday lives we lead.
It literally felt like home. The lodge had everything you could possibly need and want it was extremely well equipped, very tidy and clean, the location was ideal for us as a base for exploring cornwall and the hot tub was amazing!
Lovely relaxed break, the lodge is lovely with all amenities required, the hot tub is such a fab additional feature for rest and relaxation. The park is so quiet and we were left to ourselves for the whole week, but assistance was on hand if needed. There is not much around this tourist park, but that was just what we wanted, peace, quiet and a central location for exploring cornwall. Thanks for a lovely stay!
The location was fantastic. The lodge itself was spacious and the kitchen stocked with all the utensils and pots and pans. Towels were very nice. Hot tub was amazing. Only downside was is wasn't that clean upon arrival.
Honest review. .. location wasnt the best nothing really around apart from 1 pub for local people and a londis, closest supermarket about 20 minute drive each way. We did more driving than anything this last week nothing local thats any good. Lodge itself. Jacuzzi was brilliant perfect for relaxing after a long drive everyday. Outside furniture seats just left out to ruin in rain which was disappointing. No bbq at the lodge, I think you had to request one from reception. No washing line of any kind to dry towels or bathing suits, other 2 lodges do have one each Living roomkitchen open plan good setup all modern appliances in kitchen all work as they should. Dont expect to be able to put a lot in fridge only essentials. Comfy sofa in room and a single chair also tv with freeview reception goes quite a bit but your not there to sit and watch tv. Bedroom 1 3 quarter bed very comfortable little wardrobe and plenty drawer space. Bedroom 2 two single beds again comfy and enough storage. Shower room. Shower wouldnt drain properly and had a leak. Toilet and basin as expected. Overall 610 was ok probably wouldnt stop again as location too far from anywhere but that was my fault when booking not Sykes. Looking forward to our next holiday in Newquay with Sykes though.
Such a lovely time at hunrosa. The Little extra touches made it special. The lodge was super clean and has everything you need for your stay. The hot tub was maintained daily and nothing was too much trouble. Brill base for touring Cornwall. Will definitely be returning. Thank you again x
Gareth
This was a fantastic place to stay with friendly staff and wonderful surroundings. The cottage was furnished to a high standard with a great hot tub. All round 5stars
The hunrosa lodge we stayed in was exceptional in every way. the privacy and people staying around us was 1010. The staff we spoke to where so friendly and nothing we wanted was an issue to them. Couldn't of asked for a better holiday park.
Matthew
A fantastic lodge with all the amenities you could want! The hot tub was brilliant and cleaned every day too by the family who owns it. The location is also fab as its 2030 mins away from all of the main beaches and tourist locations. I would definitely come back again.
Richard
Fantastic accommodation and base to explore different beaches and towns. The hot tub was used every day and the kids loved it .
Hunrosa is on a very tranquil country tourist park, situated perfectly to visit north and south coasts of the west. We visited St Michaels Mount, St Ives, Falmouth, Truro, Godrevy, to name a few. There are plenty of places to shop and eat within easy driving distance. The lodge itself is light, very clean, modern and fresh. The kitchen is nicely equipped and modern, giving you the choice to cook for yourself if you like. We used a disposable barbecue one night, and sat outside in the sunset. Very nice ! Theres a shower and sinkwc, fitted in a modern style. Our party of 4 adults fitted comfortably in the lodge without rearranging furniture. The hot tub is the icing on the cake. The park owners made us feel very welcome, but left us to our own devices. The bottle of wine and tea, coffee and milk on arrival was great. All in all, we had a great week.
