Honestly, this place exceeded our expectations. The photos don’t quite capture how charming and cosy it is. It’s super peaceful and well located for exploring. The owner was really friendly and always ready to help if needed. The cottage was spotlessand we loved the little welcome pack with some treats. We had an awesome week here and would definitely come back!

We had an amazing stay at the cottage over New Year’s Eveand it was just what we needed. The location is ideal for exploring Dartmoor and Bovey Tracey, plus it’s super peaceful. The place was spotless and beautifully kept, definitely a step above other cottages we've been to. The hosts were lovely and very welcoming. Also, the Woodfired Pizza from Chanbury’s is a must-try if you want a cheeky takeaway. Highly recommend!
Emma
Honestly, we had such a lovely time at Little Bovey! We keep saying we should’ve stayed longer - maybe two weeks next time. The drive felt much longer than it actually was, but once we arrived, it was like we’d stepped into a cosy hideaway. The open fire made Christmas extra specialand we had a blast trying out the hot tub and pizza oven. Our dogs were in heaven too; the fully enclosed garden gave us peace of mind. The house and surroundings are stunning. We’ll definitely be returning soon, can’t wait! Truly a gem of a place.
Emma
Great stay, couldn’t have asked for more, really loved it!
James
The place was pretty cosyand we loved the hot tub after long days exploring. The log burner worked great, mainly for the cosy vibeand it was lovely!
Emily
We really enjoyed the cottage; it’s a cosy spot perfect for two, though it might feel a bit tight upstairs if you’re more. The location’s great for exploring south Devon, but be prepared for some noise from the nearby dual carriageway when windows are open. Bovey Tracey’s park is lovely for dog walks, just across from the Co-Op. Nice stay overall!
Claire
This is a lovely cottage in a fantastic location! It's so cozy and has everything you need for a great stay. The views are just stunning and we couldn't have asked for a better spot. Plus, it's close to some nice hikes and shops. Perfect for a relaxing getaway! Only thing is, the Wi-Fi could be a bit better, but everything else was spot on. We really enjoyed our time here!
James
What a lovely place to stay! It's nice and quiet, but still super easy to get to the coast and Dartmoor. The gardens, both front and rear, are really dog friendly, complete with treats and dog bowls for our furry friend, plus we got a really nice welcome pack when we arrived. The hot tub was well used while we were thereand being under cover made it even more enjoyable!

The cottage is beautifully presented with everything you could possibly need. There was a lovely hamper on arrival and the added bonus of the pizza oven and hot tub! Both the front and back gardens give plenty of space for our four-legged friends to potter about. The owners were very friendly when we spoke with themand we knew they were there if we needed anything. The location is great if you want to be within easy reach of both Dartmoor and the local beaches.

This place is just lovely! It's quiet and really well appointed. Everything is well maintained, totally spotlessand the beds and sofas are super comfy. The kitchen is equipped with plenty of tools, which is great. We loved the lovely hot shower. The early morning sun shines on the front and the back garden gets that lovely late afternoon light. Also, that welcome pack was such a nice touch!

We had a fantastic stay! Our family of five, with three teenagers and a dog, found it to be perfect for us. The cottage was spotless and had everything we could possibly need. It was wonderful to have a clean and fresh hot tub just for us. The log fire made it all so cosy and the beds were incredibly comfortable too. The location was ideal - secluded enough for a peaceful getaway, yet close to plenty of places to explore like Go Ape at Haldon Forest, Exeter City and Amazing Dartmoor!
