First time for us venturing to Devon with our 3 year old boxer dog and 2 teenage children. We specifically booked this cottage as it was rated as dog friendly which was of high importance along with the location and needing 3 bedrooms. The owner's communications were excellent, the cottage was perfect and the hot tub was a deal clincher for the kid s. Lots of space for us all to move around in and located close to lots of places to visit. Even the weather was excellent!!!

A lovely comfortable cottage, both the dogs and the kids loved it and we would not hesitate in recommending it to anyone. We visited in the summer but are mighty tempted to go back in the winter to enjoy the log burner. Would not hesitate to visit again. Thank you very much.

Everything you could want. The cottage is both human and very dog friendly. The dog paddock is wonderful. Ideally located for all North Devon has to offer. And it has so much (including the humungous beach at Saunton Sands). If I could have given 10 stars out of 5 I would have done. Ive already been recommending this property to family and friends!

This cottage is one of our favourites we've ever stayed in! It's beautiful, clean, gorgeous gardens and hot tub, and was perfect for our dogs! The owners were so friendly. We asked if they had any tupperware we could borrow for a picnic and within the hour there were some left by the front door. They weren't precious about noise which was ideal for us as we were celebrating a birthday while there. They even allowed us to stay an extra night as it was available! Couldn't recommend more!
Susan
Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. Only issue we had was our old arthritic dog refused to go out to the patio via the house stairs, however this was solved taking him via his lead out the front door to the garden gate. He was happy enough coming back up via the paddock and can manage getting downstairs. This didn't detract from the barn oth erwise being very dog friendly with lots of play space for them and humans alike! The hot tub was a welcome spa to relax after a day of exploring!
Genevieve

We keep returning to this place. The location is just so incredibly peaceful and the cottage is superb. I really couldn't suggest anything that needs to be changed or added to make our stays better. Under new ownership but a seamless handover from the old to the new. Thank you to both - just lovely visiting each and every time. Can't wait until the next one when we know a very warm welcome awaits and a very comfy and peaceful cottage stay. x

What a wonderful find. Beautifully converted character barn. Perfect place to get away and relax. Fabulous hosts. Has everything you could need and so accommodating for dogs. Love the enclosed hot tub, ideal for a rainy day, or you can fold back the doors and look up to the clear night sky and stars depending on weather.
