We had a really lovely stay here! The barn’s a cosy spot with a quirky, eclectic vibeand the private garden was perfect for relaxing. Watching the birds visit was such a treat. The views from the front are stunning - it genuinely feels like you’re miles away from everything, yet Torrington is just a short walk. Gavin and Nicki were super friendly and kept us topped up with fresh eggs. We’d definitely come back and can’t recommend it enough!

Maple Barn really is a lovely spot for a getaway. The cottage was immaculate and thoughtfully decorated, with everything we needed for a comfy stay. The garden’s charmingand the hot tub was a real treat after a day out. The views are stunning! Gavin and Nikki are fantastic hosts-super friendly and available if you need anything. It’s perfect for a peaceful escape; close enough to shops but once inside, it’s pure countryside peace. We’d definitely come back again. Such a relaxing place!

We really appreciated the thought put into this place. It’s comfortably furnished with an eclectic styleand the private garden was perfect for relaxing. The location is spot-on - close enough to walk into town but still feels quite rural, especially with the nearby Torrington Commons for walks. We came to unwind and enjoy the outdoorsand it definitely delivered. Beaches at Instow and Saunton Sands are easily reachable, both fantastic and dog-friendly. We’d definitely come back!

We had a lovely stay here! The place was spotless and had everything we needed. Perfect spot for exploring North Devon, with three pubs within walking distance. The locals were really friendlyand the short walk to Morrisons or M&S Garage made grabbing essentials easy. The breakfast at the Puffing Billy was a real treat. The host was super helpful but didn't bother us, which we appreciated. Quiet area, great for our reactive dog too. Would definitely come back!

We loved this cosy little cottage-so peaceful and tucked away, yet close enough to Westward Ho! for the dogs to run free on the beach. The garden was secure, perfect for our pup. Just a short walk to the village for supplies. Definitely a chill spot for a relaxing break!

Exmoor Zoo is described as a "family zoo" on their website and it certainly makes a great day out for families.  There are many exotic and rare animals as well as birds to see which are living in natural surroundings.  Some recent improvements at the zoo include a new 5 metre tower at the cheetahs and raised walkways at the "beast".  There is also a new viewing platform over the sitatunga.  As well as the amazing animals to experience there are regular fun activities such as face painting, daily events and zoo trails.

Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park  is a big hit with families and has a wonderful setting within 26 acres of Sub Tropical grounds. During a stroll around the site you will encounter so of the worlds most endangered animals and also take a peek back to prehistoric times when Dinosaurs roamed the earth. The park is home to the worlds only full size animatronic Tyrannosaurus Rex as well as Lions, Wolves, Sea Lions, Meerkats and many other species, Top attractions include the amazing Sea Lion Shows, Falconry Display and Sea Lion Swims.

Dingles Steam Village is an all weather attraction crammed with activities for the whole family to enjoy. The site has a wonderful Café serving home cooked meals, a fun Soft Play Area for younger children, an Agility Course for older kids and several Nature Trails for the family to explore together. The site also displays working and static exhibits of Steam Engines as well as old Fairground Rides so is educational as well as fun!
The Donkey Sanctuary - EX10 0NU
