Fabulous property! Amazing views. Perfect location! Celebrating my 60th birthday with family and friends. We all had our privacy in terms of own bedrooms and bathrooms but could come together in the open plan kitchen/dining/living area. Large fridge and freezer were great for a large group as were the 4 ovens! Hot tub a big hit with everyone! RecomRead moremend to anyone planning a house party! Hide

A well equipped property with fabulous views in a great location, our family thoroughly enjoyed the location and the property and would highly recommend this area and the experiences it offers.
Jessica
It was a nice house, in a good location. The ferry to get to Fowey was very close, and the local pubs were nice. The house is very controlled by the owners, so thermostats are locked, hot water doesnt work at certain hours, and there are lots of instructions throughout the house. The hill to get to the ferry is very steep, so be weary to those withRead more mobility issues. It was very nice to have a hot tub in the evenings and the kitchen was well equipped. Overall it was a nice time. Hide

Overall this was a fantastic property. The house was really nice with fantastic views and the 5 en-suites made it perfect for 5 couples sharing. I would definitely recommend it and/or stay again in the future
Deane
The pictures of this stunning property don't do it justice. Not only has it been built to high specifications but the design, space and every fitment is of a high quality. Staying there felt like a real treat. The views from the property are incredible and the location was peaceful. When walking in the area, there are many inclines and although mosRead moret of us enjoyed the challenge, be aware that for the one older member of our party, it was almost too much. Hide

Really well equipped and plenty of room for everyone, with three generations this could have been a problem but not here , teenagers in cinema room , parents in sauna, twenty somethings in hot tub and oldies watching good old TV. Thank you.
Barbara
We have stayed in quite a few rental properties and this location was lovely. This house is well situated in a quiet part of Cornwall but with easy access to many quaint towns via ferry if you didn't want to drive around the very narrow roads. There was plenty to see and do from walking to beach time to boat hire to shopping. The house had beautifulRead more views and was close to a fab bakery. The kids loved the media room and I loved the sauna. Not for anyone with accessibility issues. Hide

This is a great house. As you always read, the photos don't do it justice and this really applies to the Glass House. It's big and has lots of open space, the bedrooms are large, the terraces are great and the quality of the fittings are really good - love the sauna! Polruan is a nice little town and the trip across to Fowey on the ferry is good bu t getting out and about in a car is the only downside. The country lanes are narrow and it takes 20-30 minutes to get on to a main road.
Graham
What an amazing property! Had an lovely week here with three generations of our family staying in spacious comfort. The views from 4 out of the 5 bedrooms are picture postcard and certainly worth waking up to. The location, whilst on a hill, is very easy to get to the local pubs or on the pedestrian ferry across to Fowey. Would highly recommend thi s very beautiful, clean house for anyone looking to soak in the Cornish atmosphere with a touch of wow. We definitely want to return.
Jane
Fantastic home and wonderful area with the daily necessities close by. People are super friendly! Take heed of the house description and area with regards to hills, definitely not suitable for difficulties with mobility. We had an amazing time. Views are incredible!
Nadine
Beautiful property with fantastic views. All the amenities for an enjoyable holiday.
Michael
The house had a beautiful outlook and very sunny position at the top of a very steep hill accessed by road or footpaths. The local Lugger pub was excellent to be found at the bottom of the hill with a convenience store, baker , cafe and another pub plus the regular foot ferry to Fowey.
Deborah
Very nice, high spec home with fantastic views over Fowey & the estuary . Suited my family group of 8 & 2 dogs very well. Hot tub a great asset with the British weather and regularly maintained by property management. You can only guarantee to park 2 cars outside house although London based quests used the mainline station at Lostwithiel which is a n excellent benefit. Polruan is a lovely village albeit very steep walking! Lovely coastal walks & great foot ferry over to Fowey for more amenities.
Sulo
Gorgeous house and great location just a walk to the passenger ferry but access by car to the house is via very narrow single car roads and parking at the house is rather tricky.
Malcolm
Location is superb with views to die for but remember to bring your fittest legs as the steep incline back up to the house will test them. Found some amazing walks along the cliff tops to nearby bays. The foot ferry to Fowey adds to the whole experience and allows you to visit the shops and pubs in the town. All in all an ideal place for a break an d somewhere we will definitely like to return
Natalie
A wonderful wow-factor property. We stayed as an extended family of eight for my parents 50th wedding anniversary and had a brilliant time. The property is spotless and huge, so you never feel on top of each other. The sauna, cinema and hot tub all add to the wow factor and really makes it a special property, combined with the amazing views I would very much recommend for larger groups wanting a special stay. Perhaps obvious, but Polruan is very hilly for those with any mobility issues!
John
Fantastic property, great location. Property could have been cleaned to higher standard, for instance, the stairs were still dusty, cobwebs in living areas. Needs more cutlery, more cooking pans and pots required. However great house.
Rachael
Beautiful property with amazing views, would highly recommend. Although the information states there is ample parking there is only room for 2 cars on the driveway. Further parking is available out on the road if needed.
