The cottage and the place are very very beautiful plus the COWS. We really wanted enclosed garden as our dog is only 9 month old and it's beagle, I wouldn't say it's enclosed.we couldn't free to go.
Rob
We had a lovely stay at barn view. Arriving at the property via some pretty narrow country lanes we found the accommodation to be very clean. The kitchen is very well equipped and the living room spacious. A lovely dining table to gather round for meals and evening games. This cottage was just perfect for us! We had a wheelchair user in our party so the downstairs bedroom was brilliant. There is two steps up to main living space but that wasn't too much of an issue. There is everything you could possibly need in the house including board games which was brilliant. Beds were comfy and there was ample space for all 6 Read moreof us. Hot tub was a great addition and it was kept lovely and clean throught our stay. We loved the visits from the farm dogs who are super friendly! Hide

We stayed as a group of 3 (one of our party couldnt make it due to illness). We immediately felt at home in this lovely property. Its very clean, warm and comfortable. The house is very rural, which we loved but make sure you come with food, tea coffee etc. Being on a farm, we had some lovely encounters with the cows, which we loved. The farm is doRead morewn country lanes and on a working farm, so your car will get muddy. But it all adds to the charm. Double duvets on the single beds was brill! Hide

Excellent accommodation with good privacy in the garden/hot tub. Hot tub was easy large enough to accommodate the house capacity of 6 people. Really enjoyed our stay and intend to visit again
Emma
The cottage is located behind the main house around a steep farm track which is accessible from a track on the right just after a big shed. The cottage itself is well maintained and the underfloor heating was fantastic. Hot tub was lovely to use even on a cold night. Beds are comfortable and there was good space for us all.
Sinead
Lovely cottage and very well equipped.

Barn View Hill Farm is set in a beautiful landscape with the most amazing view when you open the door in the morning. It has everything you need to spend your holiday there. We had a lovely stay at Barn View, it was a lovely comfortable cottage with a homely warm feel. The cottage had everything you need and a big plus is that all the bedrooms have ensuite facilities. Barn View is beautiful, so quiet and peaceful in rural Devon; hottub made it even more perfect Loved the visiting farm dogs, especially the Collie; didnt like the visiting spiders and flies but these are to be expected in such a rural setting! It was the most relaxing break for us all though the tiny country lanes make getting away from property a difficult long drive, though loved Great Western Canal walk in extremely hot September sun with lunch at Hickory Inn making it worth effort
Hollie
The barn was lovely and a great place to relax. The hot tub was fantastic for our family to enjoy. We had a lovely holiday.
Alex
Lovely property in a picturesque location in the heart of Devon! Perfect for a relaxing break where you can switch off from the world and enjoy the countryside
Juliette
We loved this holiday Cottage. It was very well appointed and lovely and spacious. Its on a working farm and it was lovely to see and hear the cows.. I would definitely recommend this Cottage.
Juliet
Roomy cottage in beautiful location. Lots of room for us our son and wife and boys 11 and 6. We loved the hot tub but had difficulty putting the lid back on.
Jacqueline
Our hosts were kind, helpful and welcoming. The cottage was perfect. It snowed (DEC) after we arrived. We woke up to winter wonderland (beautiful) but our cars were not practical. We could not travel on 1 day as there was ice on roads. This is an isolated area and small roads are not often travelled or gritted. Tyre chains or a 4-wheel drive would have been useful. Take some food with you in case you are travelling in winter and get caught out as nearest Spar is about 3 miles uphill away.
Jonathan
Such a well equipped barn conversion, with everything you need for a perfect break! In a remote but peaceful location there is ample space to relax and enjoy the social layout whilst also having cosy and comfortable bedrooms. The hot tub is an added bonus! Thank you for a wonderful stay; we would definitely come back!
Mary-Rose
Six, over-seventy year-olds thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A lovely view over the rolling Devon countryside and a hot tub to enjoy if you are so inclined. All equipment necessary was provided and of good quality. Spacious but cosy - the lovely thick walls had retained the heat of summer. Tiverton is an interesting town and worth a visit especially to The Great Western Canal and the Pannier Market. Be prepared to drive down narrow lanes with passing places!
Simon
A beautiful place to stay in an absolutely stunning location. The accommodation was fantastic! There was everything that you could and would need in the cottage. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious with on suite bathrooms. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything you could possibly need. The jacuzzi in the garden was a real asset a nd we all enjoyed it. The farm dogs were very friendly and we loved their visits to our cottage. A great stay, we didnt want to leave.
Georgette
Nestled in beautiful countryside this cottage really is in a great location. You definitely need a car lots to explore. Although the advert says WiFi, the Internet connection is very slow due to the remote location and didn't work at all for several days. The owner did say that a replacement router was being sent so hopefully this will be fixed. Th e owners are very friendly.
Helen
A great rural cottage. Right in the middle of the farm. Owners attentive and keen to ensure we were settled and happy. Beds comfy, all bedding and towels provided. Hot tub was fab! We cooked at home a few times, and all utensils etc available. We visited 2 nearby National Trust properties and Dartmoor, great location for this. The pub was a drive a way, they were very accommodating with our dog, finding us a table in their annexe. We would definitely go back
Linda
Beautiful cottage with high quality equipment. Plenty of seating and space. Great communial areas
Emily

J
We had a great time. The cottage is very spacious, clean and well equipped. Sitting in the hot tub after a long walk was very relaxing.
Alison
If you want a remote and peaceful cottage then look no further. The cottage is done up to a really high spec and was very clean. It has all equipment you might need and hot tub was a lovely bonus. Not much close by, nearest town is Tiverton, the lanes are very narrow but it is a nice north Devon location to tour out from. The large open plan kitche n dinning and sitting room ensure a nice social area. Every bedroom clean, with great en-suite. Very comfortable.
Mark
We had an amazing holiday. Such a peaceful and beautiful location. The barn was clean, comfortable and equipped to a very high standard. The hot tub was fantastic. Would 100% recommend and we will definitely return. Thank you so much.
