Melissa Lodge Reviews

Philip
The accommodation is beautifully situated, within easy travelling distance of many of the sites to visit. It was well maintained and the hot tub was a plus. We found the lounge area well appointed. We did not use the kitchen much as we had our main meals out at one or other of the excellent pubs nearby. We thought it was good value for money.
Marianne
This is a beautiful lodge with hot tub within Felmoor Park. Very well equipped and excellent area for dog walking. Unfortunately there is no small shop on site for milk, newspaper etc but would certainly return.
Siobhan
Lovely lodge, quiet, well equipped and the hot tub was amazing. Very comfy (2nd bedroom small but kids slept well in it) Close to lots of things to do so had a really good stay.
David
This is an excellent quality home from home having everything you could want. The hot tub was excellent checked every day. Being dog friendly with a secluded tub and area for our dog to lie out and run around. Wifi sooperb.couldnt ask for more. Well worth it.

A perfect stay in a beautiful surroundings, close to nearby beaches and the historical town of Morpeth. The accommodation is well equipped for cooking a meal or you can go to the onsite bar/restaurant. The lodge has a homely feel to it & I would defiantly return to Fell Moore Park. The hot tub was a real treat & the park is dog friendly. My only reRead morecommendation would be better quality mattresses, we found the beds to be uncomfortable. Hide

Having been to this lodge on three occasions I would definitely recommend to anyone. Beautiful lodge in a very peaceful location on the park. Our 2 fur babies enjoy it as much as us. Hot tub nice & hot, fabulous showers & lovely outlook. Great club onsite literally a minute away. Melissa lodge never disappoints.

Appreciated the welcome gifts - thank you Lodge was very clean, spacious and in a great location at a lovely park. Note - water pressure and hot water all but disappear on changeover day - would have been useful to know this Recommend breakfast at the Crazy Horse Saloon!

We had a really relaxing stay. The cottage was amazing and really comfortable, the outside area even better. It is in great location to sight see! Everything we wanted to visit was under half an hours drive. Also great that the zoo was only a mile away.
Sarah
Perfect! We couldn't fault this Lodge. It was so relaxing, we had everything we needed & more. There was Wi-Fi, Netflix, a surprise bottle of champagne & a box of delicious cookies on our arrival. It had everything from a dishwasher, washer/dryer, iron, iron board, clothes horse, seat cushions for outside, all the cutlery, crockery, pans, FF with icemaker, even basics like coffee, sugar, & tea., not forgetting the hot tub of course. There was everything you would need & more. Fabulous
Alison

Fantastic a real home from home and so spacious. The Location is absolutely perfect for visiting the stunning Northumberland area. A lovely touch and very welcomed arrival gift from the owners was a bottle of Prosecco. Popped into the Crazy Horse most nights for a quick drink and on our final night we enjoyed a lovely meal. The Staff were lovely an d the portions were on the large size!! Would we go again ~ Oh yes without hesitation.
Gail
The lodge was one of the best weve ever visited. So beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you need for a wonderful break. The hot tub was excellent too. We visited in February / March so couldnt sit outside but the decking looked great. Biscuits and Prosecco on arrival ( thank you owners) was a lovely touch. Two bedrooms and two bathro oms and a large anti-space between them so it was very spacious. Warm and comfortable throughout.
Deborah

WOW ! What can I say. The most amazing week at Honey Bee Lodge/Melissa Lodge. It was immaculate & more than home from home. I honestly could not find a single thing that was not perfect from beautifully clean comfortable furniture every thing you could possibly need. Had the best nights sleep. From the start until departure we had the most relaxing time ever. We will definitely love to return. I can not rate this lodge highly enough. It was truly fantastic & in stunning grounds as well. A+
John
Peaceful & nice food at crazy horse
Seb
Beautifully presented lodge in a location ideal to explore the Northumberland coastline
Samantha
Lovely lodge, spotlessly clean, everything you need for a family holiday. Hottub maintained daily. Location is perfect to travel to the beautiful Northumberland coastline. Felmoor park is under construction in some areas, building new plots for new lodges but this did not affect our stay at all. We visited the on-site pub a few times, staff are rea lly helpful and friendly, we ate here on couple of nights , food was good and well priced. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return.
