Lovely property in a great secluded spot. Everything was easy to use and lovely touch of scones and home made jam on arrival. Only reason marks down on comfort was because the bed was quite soft, but thats because we live a firm mattress!

The cottage is absolutely beautiful, really well done throughout. Might be a little small if there is 4 people but if just a couple staying then it is perfect! Set in a stunning location really peaceful. If you get a clear night you get a great veiw of the stars, nothing like you can see in a built up city or town!. Your only neighbors apart from t he owners are sheep and thd local farm dog called Ivy.
Natalie
What an absolute treat, from arrival to departure we could not have asked for a better home for the week. The Cottage has all the comforts needed. From the moment we arrived our Fur baby was in his element running around the garden and barking at the sheep in the field behind. Local amenities are a 10minute drive away in Great Torrington and 30mins drive from Westward Ho! and other beaches makes it a great base to explore you really can not go wrong with a relax in the hot tub just prefect.

We stayed at Rose Week cottage early July 2023 for our mini-moon! It's beautiful and we'll always have such special memories of our little holiday there. The hedgerows and country lanes are beautiful and make it feel lovely and secluded even though its not far to towns and beaches. Loved the hot tub, fresh flowers, amazing shower, kitchen and scone s. Aimee and Jon were great hosts and gave us a bottle of champagne for being newly wed which was very thoughtful. Thank you for our stay, 5 stars! x
Sharon

We had the best week in Rose Week Cottage. The cottage was spotless, had everything we needed and the location was perfect! We loved chilling in the hotub after a day out exploring Devon and the garden was perfect for our dog, Ted. Jon and Aimee could not have done anything else for our stay, Jon gave us recommendations of where to go, which was fa b. Nothing was too much trouble. We were also so greatful for the fresh scones that were delivered too us. We had the best week!
Jennifer
Super clean, cool and characterful cottage! The location is beautifully peaceful and remote and was a great base to explore north Devon. Its bijou and each item inside had evidently been chosen so carefully to create such a stylish space. The hot tub was a fantastic addition to enjoy the peaceful surroundings in. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Laura Jane
Hosts let us keep ourselves to ourselves which was very much appreciated especially with a tiny baby and our sausage doggy as we had our hands full. Always on hand to help answer questions when we needed at the start of our holiday. Beautiful accommodation with a secure garden, comfortable for all! We loved the nook upstairs for a little play zone, the hot tub for Mummy & Daddy, and the beautiful secure garden for our dog. Thank you so much! We can't recommend enough x
Ricky
We had an amazing stay at Rose Week Cottage. It is a quirky little cottage with everything you would need. We spent a week here over the Easter bank holiday and the owners went out of their way to make us feel welcome, the finishing touches like home made scones and cookies, local apple juice, as well as all the local knowledge of things to do. We will be back again next year as our two young boys loved this home from home. Thank you John & Aimee, The Chauhan's will see you again for sure.
Patrick
Wow! This is one of the best holiday cottages we have stayed at, in the UK. Rose Week cottage is absolutely gorgeous inside and the attention to detail is second to none; The owners obviously have a keen eye for design. The cottage was quirky, cosy and so comfortable! It is bijou (possibly slightly smaller than I anticipated), but perfectly formed, with everything you could need and done up to a very high standard/specification. Thank you for a fab stay!
Wendy
Highly recommend this beautifully appointed cottage, our week just flew by. Hosts could not have been more helpful, giving us tips local area. Decor is stunning and furnishings of a high standard. Very peaceful location, off the beaten track with many places within easy access. We visited several spectacular beaches including Woolacombe and Saunton sands. Lovely extra touches, scones and apple juice on arrival, robes and flowers, dog treats and bowls. Hot tub a must and garden is dog friendly.
Eva
From the minute that we arrived till we left it was the WOW factor! This cottage is amazing and Jon and Aimee have made it so comfortable and homely to anyone who visits. Every room has so much attention to detail. Every item in this cottage is carefully picked and dressed in such a way that it even makes the room look more perfect then it already was. We cannot fault this cottage and look forward to go back in the nearest future.

As soon as my husband and I arrived at Rose Week Cottage we felt ourselves relax. This peaceful haven in Devon was immaculate, thoughtfully equipped with everything you would need and beautifully decorated. The hot tub was a huge bonus, we loved it so much we even went out on a drizzley evening it was so relaxing!! Aimee and Jon were fabulous hosts , they even recommended garages when I got a puncture one day when we were out and about. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to unwind.
Rob
We booked this cottage as a quiet getaway and it media for a lovely week away. Positioned to allow a trip out in the day and then a quiet evening in, star gazing from a hot tub highly recommended (except for the steam). The cottage has recently been decorated with new appliances and was very well presented, a stove top kettle made for a more rustic feel
Lorna
We had a fabulous long weekend at the Cottage. It is in an excellent location for exploring North Devon. We had our 1 year old lab with us and having the enclosed garden for him to play in was excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed exploring in the morning and chilling in the hot tub in the afternoon/evenings. Would recommend!
F
A really comfortable, well equipped cottage with the bonus of a hot tub. It was initially a little difficult to find but we soon sorted this out. The owners had left a much appreciated welcome of scones, jam and cream and apple juice. There was also several types of tea, coffee, oil and sugar as well as dog treats, bowls and poop bags. Everything w as a high standard and fresh flowers in the kitchen and bedroom. The stairs to the mezzanine are very steep. Very enjoyable, highly recommended!
kate
Modern, quirky, spotless, homely, tranquil environment. Many little touches to ensure guests are more than comfortable and have everything you could possibly need. Instructions of how to use things are clearly listed to make things easy and stress free. The private garden area is a great little hideaway and we spent many evenings here winding down in the hot tub. The treehouse and many toys and games available for children. The family are lovely and go out of their way to help with anything.
Kayte
Amazing! We had a fantastic stay at Rose Week cottage! We didn't want to leave. The cosy and well equipped cottage was gorgeous and it's well located close to many beautiful places to visit We came with our 2 very small children (1 and 2 years old) and it was perfect. The garden was wonderful and peaceful, and the children enjoyed the playground wh ilst we enjoyed the jacuzzi! The owners, Jon and Aimee, were lovely and gave us a great welcome and thoughtful treats on arrival. Highly recommend!
Jack
This little find was amazing! A 7 minute or so drive from Great Torrington, a real off the track property means that the cottage is really peaceful! The interior is stunning and exactly what you want in a 'little house' for a week, with all the amenities to cook and keep yourselves busy. Jon and Aimee are really helpful and gave us great recommenda tions for our stay in Devon. Bathroom is stunning, hot tub too, we can't recommend Rose Week Cottage enough!
Emma
My husband and I stayed here with our two girls (age 8 and 4) and had the most amazing time. Both girls were delighted with the space and despite the fact that some may be concerned about the mezzanine bedroom, I would encourage you not to be! Jon and Aimee were so welcoming and have created the most beautiful space, which was clean, homely and saf e. We felt totally relaxed there and it was a real gift to be able to stay. The hot tub was an amazing bonus. We will want to stay again for sure!!
Russell
Off the beaten track but a fantastic location to appreciate the Devon countryside while an easy drive to the beaches at Westward Ho and Instow. We enjoyed the welcome pack and the high standard of the facilities. The private enclosed garden was a sun trap for that welcome G&T in the evening. Very likely we'll book it again.
Thom
A holiday destination I would revisit instantly. The cottage is as stunning as the surrounding country side. An idea place to relax and recover as well as a perfect location to explore Devon.
Charlotte

It was very well equipped with everything you need, we traveled with a 14month old and a Labrador and both was comfortable! Amazing location for exploring Devon! It is a beautiful place to explore! Hope to visit again!
Terence
We stayed at Rose Week Cottage for one week in June and found it a delightful, comfortable and cosy place to stay. It was spotlessly clean and well thought out. The hosts Aimee and Jon were very welcoming and respected our privacy, although provided us with their numbers in case we had any problems. The cottage is situated in a quiet and peaceful a rea of the countryside but within a 10 minute drive to amenities. If you are looking to escape for a quiet relaxing break then this is the place.
