The cottage is absolutely beautiful, really well done throughout. Might be a little small if there is 4 people but if just a couple staying then it is perfect! Set in a stunning location really peaceful. If you get a clear night you get a great veiw of the stars, nothing like you can see in a built up city or town!. Your only neighbors apart from t he owners are sheep and thd local farm dog called Ivy.

What an absolute treat, from arrival to departure we could not have asked for a better home for the week. The Cottage has all the comforts needed. From the moment we arrived our Fur baby was in his element running around the garden and barking at the sheep in the field behind. Local amenities are a 10minute drive away in Great Torrington and 30mins drive from Westward Ho! and other beaches makes it a great base to explore you really can not go wrong with a relax in the hot tub just prefect.

We had the best week in Rose Week Cottage. The cottage was spotless, had everything we needed and the location was perfect! We loved chilling in the hotub after a day out exploring Devon and the garden was perfect for our dog, Ted. We had an amazing stay at Rose Week Cottage. It is a quirky little cottage with everything you would need. We spent a week here over the Easter bank holiday and the owners went out of their way to make us feel welcome, the finishing touches like home made scones and cookies, local apple juice, as well as all the local knowledge of things to do. Wow! This is one of the best holiday cottages we have stayed at, in the UK. Rose Week cottage is absolutely gorgeous inside and the attention to detail is second to none; The owners obviously have a keen eye for design. The cottage was quirky, cosy and so comfortable! It is bijou (possibly slightly smaller than I anticipated), but perfectly formed, with everything you could need and done up to a very high standard/specification. Thank you for a fab stay!

Very peaceful location, off the beaten track with many places within easy access. We visited several spectacular beaches including Woolacombe and Saunton sands. This peaceful haven in Devon was immaculate, thoughtfully equipped with everything you would need and beautifully decorated. A really comfortable, well equipped cottage with the bonus of a hot tub. It was initially a little difficult to find but we soon sorted this out. The owners had left a much appreciated welcome of scones, jam and cream and apple juice. There was also several types of tea, coffee, oil and sugar as well as dog treats, bowls and poop bags. Everything w as a high standard and fresh flowers in the kitchen and bedroom. The stairs to the mezzanine are very steep. Very enjoyable, highly recommended!

Modern, quirky, spotless, homely, tranquil environment. Many little touches to ensure guests are more than comfortable and have everything you could possibly need. Instructions of how to use things are clearly listed to make things easy and stress free. The private garden area is a great little hideaway and we spent many evenings here winding down in the hot tub. The treehouse and many toys and games available for children. Amazing! We had a fantastic stay at Rose Week cottage! We didn't want to leave. The cosy and well equipped cottage was gorgeous and it's well located close to many beautiful places to visit We came with our 2 very small children (1 and 2 years old) and it was perfect. This little find was amazing! A 7 minute or so drive from Great Torrington, a real off the track property means that the cottage is really peaceful! The interior is stunning and exactly what you want in a 'little house' for a week, with all the amenities to cook and keep yourselves busy. Both girls were delighted with the space and despite the fact that some may be concerned about the mezzanine bedroom, I would encourage you not to be! We stayed at Rose Week Cottage for one week in June and found it a delightful, comfortable and cosy place to stay. It was spotlessly clean and well thought out. The hosts Aimee and Jon were very welcoming and respected our privacy, although provided us with their numbers in case we had any problems. The cottage is situated in a quiet and peaceful a rea of the countryside but within a 10 minute drive to amenities. If you are looking to escape for a quiet relaxing break then this is the place.

There are many exotic and rare animals as well as birds to see which are living in natural surroundings. Some recent improvements at the zoo include a new 5 metre tower at the cheetahs and raised walkways at the "beast". There is also a new viewing platform over the sitatunga. As well as the amazing animals to experience there are regular fun activities such as face painting, daily events and zoo trails.

Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park is a big hit with families and has a wonderful setting within 26 acres of Sub Tropical grounds.
