The cottage was spacious, well equipped and thoughtfully laid out. It is in a stunning location, remote enough to enjoy the countryside views but still possible to walk to Symondsbury in about 30 minutes and / or a 5 minute drive into Bridport. It was a pleasant surprise the see brand new washing machine, tumble dryer and table tennis table. The be ds deserve a special mention as they were excellent, very large and very comfortable. Overall an excellent cottage for a large family holiday.

This cottage is absolutely beautiful, in totally gorgeous surroundings. The house is furnished beautifully and was very warm on a cold January weekend. The hot tub was warm and ready to jump in... But quite hard to work out how to turn it up, and unfortunately there was a problem with the water pressure which meant sometimes we couldn't shower, flu sh the toilet or wash hands. This is apparently due to the cottage being in a rural area and being fed by a spring which affects the water pressure.

You will see majestic floral displays, stone terraces, a temple and even a lake.

Bicton Park and Gardens - EX9 7BJ

This year round attraction has been described as Devon's most magnificent historic gardens. Located in the Otter Valley area of East Devon you can enjoy a fun day out in a picturesque setting. Open year round we think this is one of best attractions in Dorset and you even get the chance to adopt a monkey if you choose.
