Emma Clarke
We had a lovely time staying at Beech Lodge! The space was really comfortable and spotless, with everything we needed. The fresh air and ducks made it even more special. Perfect spot for exploring nearby trails and areas. Thanks to the owners for making it memorable!
Emma
Honestly, the cleanliness was just okayand we did notice a strong drainage smell when we arrived, like the place had been empty for a while without regular flushing. There was cobwebs and dust everywhere, which wasn’t great. The location’s alright, but you do need to drive quite a bit to get anywhere. The onsite pub was nothing special-the team was lovely, but the food left a lot to be desired. The sausage and mash was offand the nachos tasted cheap. Overall, it was just okay, nothing more.
Emma
Really enjoyed our stay! The lodge has everything you could wantand the hot tub was a definite highlight for us all.
Emma
We loved Beech Lodge! Everything felt really cosy, with comfy beds and all the utensils we needed. It was a perfect home away from home.
Emma
Great spot for exploring Devon, with loads of nearby attractions and all dog-friendly. The lodge was super comfy and well-equipped. Definitely planning to come back!
Emma
This lodge really has everything we wanted-peaceful, cosyand perfect for unwinding. The hot tub was such a treatand those visiting ducks just made it even more special. Can't wait to come back!
Emma Carter
We had a lovely stay at the lodge! The place is stunning, super cleanand well stocked with everything we needed. The views really are gorgeous, especially in the morning. The hot tub was a nice touch, though it’s a bit exposed since it’s right next to reception and the main path, so privacy isn’t fantastic. A quick heads up-if you’re heading out at night, bring a torch because there’s limited lighting. Also, if you’re planning to go into Okehampton by bus, just know the service stops after 8pm and there’s no taxi back. Overall, a great breakand the Indian restaurant nearby is a must-try!
Emma
We loved the peaceful vibe of the lodge and the serene setting. The pub at the entrance was nice, but we mainly enjoyed relaxing on the balcony with a drink. Exploring Dartmoor was a highlightand Okehampton wasn’t far for supplies. No shop on site, but overall, a lovely place we’d recommend to others!
Emma
The lodge was spotless and cosy, with a hot tub that was perfect after a day's exploring. Great spot for Devon or heading into Cornwall!
Emma

We stayed here last week and honestly, it was brilliant. The lodge was lovelyand the on-site pub, Betty Cottles, was a real bonus. We had such a great holiday and definitely plan to come back!
Emma
We really enjoyed our stay! The place was spotless and super cosy. The town's just a quick 5-minute drive away. Don't forget to bring blankets if you’re used to a bigger duvet!
Alex
The lodge looked lovely and was super clean. All the essentials like soap, toilet rollsand dishwashing liquid were there. Definitely a place we'd stay at again!
Emma
We stayed in a beautifully clean cabin with a super comfy bed and plenty of space. The hot tub was a real treat! Perfect for exploring Okehampton Castle, the Water Horse Museumand North Devon. Lovely place to make memories with family!
Emma
We loved the lodge; it was super tidy and cosy. The hot tub was a real highlight, even with the cold weather. Definitely coming back!
Oliver
We think the lodge is quite new, still having some labels on fittings here and there. It was spotless and well located for exploring both coasts, plus Okehampton is a lovely town nearby. The only real downsides were the lack of instructions for using some fixtures and the limited control over heating on chilly nights. The hot tub was nice but did disturb our sleep a bit. Overall, a pretty good stay, just a few minor annoyances!
Sam
Really enjoyed it, lovely park, the owners are super welcoming and kind.
Laura
The cabin was spotless, well-equippedand in a prime spot. Loved relaxing in the hot tub after a busy day!
