Everything 5 Star, the owners are fantastic, nothing is to much trouble miof help is required. Their dogs are human and dog friendly. If you have forgotten something, don't worry you will find it in a drawer or cupboard there. Top of our list for a return visit and enjoy the challenge for reversing through the gate, practise will make perfect.

Once we had mastered reversing into the driveway (!) we were warmly welcomed , and were impressed with the decor and finish in the property, and all the little touches that spoke of taste and quality. It was mostly very peaceful ( barking dogs earlier one morning!) and literally everything we needed was there. We nearly didnt make to our holiday due to a personal emergency but we are so glad we did. Colin and Annie were fabulous hosts and the newly renovated cottage is so clean and comfortable. Lovely owners, couldn't do enough for you. Property absolutely top notch. Everything was brand new and could not have been better. Good location near shops, restaurants, pubs. Park close for the dog. Wi-Fi excellent (unfortunately part working break). Lovely welcome pack and wonderful beach 10 mins drive away. Thoroughly recommended.

Exmoor Zoo is described as a "family zoo" on their website and it certainly makes a great day out for families.  There are many exotic and rare animals as well as birds to see which are living in natural surroundings.  Some recent improvements at the zoo include a new 5 metre tower at the cheetahs and raised walkways at the "beast".  There is also a new viewing platform over the sitatunga.  As well as the amazing animals to experience there are regular fun activities such as face painting, daily events and zoo trails.
