Steven
Overall a nice quiet place to stay with a well presented lodge
George
It was just what we wanted, nice and quiet with a lot of bird life close by. Easy driving distance to lots of places of interest.
Helen
Our holiday was fantastic it was so peaceful the lodge had everything we needed, clean, and comfortable, I will recommend it to anyone.
Neil
Peaceful location (being February probably helped).
Alice
Great lodge, fab hot tub, perfect location to access dartmoor. Had everything we needed could've done with a heated towel rail for wet days. The walk to meldon viaduct and round reservoir spectacular. Would definitely stay again.
Natalie
Gorgeous, just lovely. Can't say anymore.
JAMES
We needed the accommodation to be good because the weather was atrocious, it was definitely worth the money, The staff were really sociable & attentive, worth the money.
Gordon
Overall this was a comfortable lodge that suited our purpose and is in a nice location. There is plenty of space between the lodges. Maintenance doesn't seem to be a high priority, the outside was a bit worn, the outdoor furniture and handrails were full of cobwebs, The water in hot tub was never checked during our visit. Dining room table is very small for 4 people. It is supposed to extend but was glued shut as previously broken. Very cramped at meal times for 4 people.
Felicity
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Oak Lodge, Meldon - we were blessed with sunshine even though it was mid-November. We hope to return.
Tony
Nice place people friendly and the hot tub was great after a long day
Jannine
Fabulous holiday, The lodge has all you need for a comfortable stay. Kids especially loved the hot tub in an evening, along with feeding the greedy ducks in the pond behind us, lots of frozen peas. Found a local loop walk to the reservoir. Lots of driving to explore Devon & Cornwall. Lots of castles including, castle Drogo and Okehampton castle amo ngst many. Also a great trip to Tintagel and Bude beach. Now need a holiday to rest our weary legs from all the hill walking
Cherry
Fantastic luxury lodge with all you could wish for. Great for walkers but location for those seeking the beach is not great. The beaches are beautiful but at 45 mins each way and with cost of fuel it was a costly addition. The hot tub was fantastic after driving for up to 2hours a day. The hosts are friendly and accommodating and we would return. B etty Cottles pub needs lots of TLC - the play area is not great or safe for children with all the rubbish around and not run by the park owners!
John
Great little lodge. Lovely fresh linen. Hotub well maintained and just right after a long journey. Nearby woods fully fenced and gated, ideal for the pooch.
Marina
Beautiful accommodation and surrounding area.
Donna
We stayed in Oak Lodge which was absolutely fantastic. It was right by the duck pond which was an absolutely beautiful location. The lodge itself was immaculate and came with everything that was needed for a proper home from home holiday. The hot tub was great and we used it every evening after lots of walking on Dartmoor. There was a friendly pub literally 100 yards away which served great food. We will definitely be going back and I would highly recommend Meldon Park for a relaxing holiday.
