We had a lovely stay at the cottage, which was super cosy and inviting. It was spotless and had a nice touch with a bottle of Prosecco waiting for us. Everything we needed was there-washing machine, dishwasher, coffee makerand a well-stocked kitchen. The dog got a towel and bowls, which was handy. The hot tub was a real treatand robes were provided. Plenty of towels and a comfy bed made everything perfect. The outside loading area and the nearby pub with free parking were a bonus. Highly recommend!
Emma
We stayed at the cottage recently and it’s really charming, but the layout can be a bit awkward with dogs. The designated dog area is tucked between the bathroom and bedroom, so it’s not super convenient unless we’re with them. Both spaces are quite small, so probably best for tiny pups. On the plus side, the location is fantastic - easy walk to a dog-friendly beach and the Tarka Trail. The pub at the end of the lane is lovelyand parking there was straightforward enough. Definitely recommend, especially for a couple on their own!
Emma
We had a fantastic week at this cosy cottage! The place was thoughtfully decorated and super comfortable. The lounge sofa was perfect for unwinding after a day outand the bed was so cosy we had some of our best sleeps in ages. The hot tub was a real highlight-especially with the towels and robes provided, very considerate. The location was ideal, with beautiful beaches and the Tarka Trail nearby. Plenty of lovely spots to eat and explore made our stay even better!
James
Really enjoyed the stay, lovely surroundings and super dog-friendly place!

Great spot, super welcoming staff, easy to take dogs along, close to Tesco, will return!
Emma
We really enjoyed our stay in Instow; it’s such a charming little town. The cottage’s location is spot on, right in the centre, which made exploring really easy. The amenities were fine for our needsand honestly, the hot tub was a lovely bonus - we spent ages relaxing in it. The place itself felt a bit tired and could do with a fresh coat of paint and some repairs, but nothing too major. Parking was a bit tricky right outside, as cars park close by, but we found space in the pub parking nearby, so it wasn’t a big hassle. Overall, a decent stay!
Emma
Really enjoyed our stay here! The spot is perfect for a chilled break with dogs, lots of lovely walksand dog-friendly pubs nearby. We’d happily return someday.

It’s perfect for relaxing, with plenty to do nearby - the beach was just a short walk awayand the local eateries didn’t disappoint. The community-run ferry to Appledole offers a lovely change of scenery. The locals were all really welcoming too. Honestly, we’d definitely recommend it for a chilled getaway!

Emma
We had a lovely stay in this cosy spot, perfectly placed for exploring. The local pubs were a real highlight, each with a warm vibe. Walking along the Tarka trail and into Bideford was lovely, though Appledore was a bit too far for us on foot, so the bus back was just right. Would definitely come again!
