We have been holidaying in cottages for the past 10 years and I can say that this was by far the best we have stayed in. Every detail of the holiday cottage was to the highest standard. The cottage was impeccable, its location, only 10 minutes outside of Weymouth and 10 minutes from the A35 was perfect. As a dog owner there were walks straight outs ide the cottage with no traffic to worry about. Every little detail was catered for. Thank you Lin & Rob for a fantastic time.
Tracey
Our second visit to this cottage and it didnt disappoint! Great location with so many attractions & activities local. The cottage has absolutely everything you need for a great stay, but the owners are about if you need them, but give you loads of privacy. The garden is a lovely space to relax in the piece and quiet, and is fully enclosed for your dog to enjoy. The covered hot tub area is a great asset, no matter what the weather.
Helen
This is probably one of the best cottages Ive stayed in. It had everything we needed. The bed linen and bath towels were lovely and fresh smelling. The beds were very comfortable. The dual aspect windows helped get a good air flow through on hot days. The kitchen, living and dining areas were well equipped and laid out. Outside there are plenty are seats for enjoying al-fresco eating and drinking. TV channels were a bit limited - a Sky basic package would be a great addition.
Aimee
We had a lovely stay, Lin & Rob were very welcoming! Also very helfpul and fixed issues quickly. Fizz on arrival was welcomed after a long drive and the cake was yummy. It is in a stunning setting close to Weymouth and Dorchester. Cottage itself is a great size, comfortable and homely. Garden is well kept and very secure for the dog. Loved the hot tub, biggest we have been in. Some great walks from the doorstep too, only thing missing is a pub along the way.
Debbie
The best cottage we have stayed at, everything you need is there and had been thought about by the owners. The welcome touches on arrival was such a pleasure to receive. The best beds and a welcome hot tub to relax in after a day out. It was the best of both worlds , rural setting and the coast easily accessible. Weather was beautiful so we didnt n eed to use the log burner but we could imagine it being cosy when on.
Linda
Dragonfly cottage is in an idyllic position, perfect for walks with your dog. The cottage is beautifully appointed, very comfortable beds and bed linen. The hot tub, and gardens private and great for relaxing in the sun or shade. Minutes away by car to supermarkets, and the beach, making trips out easy.
