We were a part of 8 over 3 generations, including 4 teenagers. The house was perfect as there was plenty of space to spread out. The games room was ideal and we made full use of the badminton set, that we brought, on the lawn Bideford is not particularly a holiday town, which was not a problem for us and was only a few minutes drive from some beachRead morees and the Tarka Trail which we cycled a number of times. The only downside, which is obvious from the photos, is the steep hill up to the house. Hide

Beautiful property in fabulous location. Think the cleaning could have been better and very limited on handwashing, toilet rolls and towels. Lovely kitchen but slightly lacking on equipment. However the overall quality and beautiful surroundings meant we had a fabulous stay. Work going on in garden but didnt disrupt us.

Sarah
This is a totally wonderful house and we had a fantastic week, enjoying the amazing location and views and all the activities - the pool table and hot tub were a special treat. Nearby, all three generations loved the Dartington Crystal factory tour, and Lundy was an experience not to be missed.
Joan
This house is light and airy and has stunning views - the main lounge/dining room is glassed all the way round and has the same lovely view. The bedrooms were all very comfortable and it is just a short walk into Bideford with really good bus connections to Westward Ho! , Appledore and Instow. The jacuzzi out on the decking was great, beautiful out under the stars and the games room was a hit too. Really comfortable, well furnished and an adorable terraced garden at the back. Loved it!
