Farley Meadow View Reviews

Michael
Fantastic place. Group of ten. Great to have the hot tub and games room. Lots of space and comfortable rooms en suites etc. Had great stay. Would highly recommend. Thanks to hosts who were great
Michaela
The property is excellent and in an excellent location. It was very clean and a great social space. It was disappointing that we had no heating on arrival. Fan heaters were left which was fine during the day but were not happy leaving them on at night. It was therefore quite cold at night. The property did not have enough glasses for the amount of people staying which was an issue as we hired a chef for one night and we struggled for wine glasses. I also suggest plastic glasses are supplied for the hot tub. Finally mirrors in some of the bathrooms were needed.
The property didn't have a homely feel, it was lacking a few nice touches. The kitchen appliances fridge freezer and dishwasher were less than adequate for the amount of people able to stay at the accommodation. Crockery was of poor quality, and a poor selection of cooking utensils. The bbq was covered in mould therefore not able to be used. The downstairs bathrooms had no mirrors. Insufficient amount of toilet rolls were provided. The hot tub was good as was the location of the property. The games room had a good selection of games but one pool que was broken, and better lighting was needed for the darts area. Although we had a wonderful time, we won't be returning.

A family get together for a Golden Wedding. The house was perfect with plenty of room and a fully equipped kitchen to feed the family. Set in a lovely private road, very quiet with lovely views. A lovely walk in the Darwin Forrest with the children to let off steam . The games room was a plus and was used by everyone as was the hot tub. Would highly recommend.
Fabulous cottage, will come again.

Location stunning. House spacious and clean. Hospitality excellent. Stuart was quick to respond to any problemsconcerns that we had during our stay. He went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. A information pack would have been beneficial about the house and surroundings. Would definitely recommend this stunning house to others. Due to the hill I would recommend walking down to Matlock but getting a taxi for the return journey. Thank you. Claire Stayed 30th August 2nd Sept.

The cottage itself was beautiful, set in a pretty and convenient location, handy for travelling to local beauty spots. The host, Matt, greeted us on arrival. The cottage, although lovely, needs a few improvements such as locks on the toilet doors. Also a small welcome pack on arrival would be a nice touch. One bedroom upstairs has no bathroom so if guests need the toilet in the middle of the night they need to go down the steep stairs not good if they are elderly.

Great property & very pleasant owner.
Fabulous Cottage with loads of space for a family gathering. Large Bedrooms and comfortable beds. Great Kitchen Diner area for Breakfast and Dinner. Games Rooms with plenty of fun options and a lovely Hot Tub for relaxation. Plenty of great bars and eating places in Matlock. Would highly recommend and hope to visit again.
This is a fabulous property we had a fabulous weekend and the host was great on hand whenever anything was needed. The house is well equipped and modern, perfect for a break away!
A great venue for a family reunion such as the one we were on. Lovely bedrooms and a great hot tub.
Excellent hosts, really welcoming, beautiful location & fantastic house, would thoroughly recommend
An amazing house , one of the best we have stayed in , highly recommend this beautiful house .
Incredible property, exceeded all our expectations. I would highly recommend to everyone!
We had the most INCREDIBLE time here. We cant thank the fantastic owners enough. They were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Everything about the house is so well thought out. For a large group its amazing to have so many bed configurations as well as lots of bathrooms. The kitchen and living space were perfect for bringing us all together and we loved the hot tub with views of the fields. We will definitely come back and looking forward to spending some more time in Matlock which was utterly charming.
We stayed at the property over Christmas and the owners had gone to great effort to make sure we had everything we needed and decorated the house wonderfully. The house is very spacious and we made full use of the pool table and the girls loved the hot tub. We would thoroughly recommend this property for a family gathering.
Thank you for a lovely stay! The house was fantastic, and we loved the Xmas decorations. Would very much recommend.
Spacious very comfortable. Clean well equipped. Good location. Games room was Brill Highly recommended. .
