Beech Tree Lodge Reviews

Sharon
Becky is lovely and welcoming. Lodge is lovely and spotless. Little welcome hamper a touching extra. Hot tub amazing especially after a day of sightseeing. I love how the lodges have a ring of trees so its like you enter a secluded world. Seen an owl a couple of times and a rabbit too.
The lodge was perfect, a great way to spend time relaxing. Plenty of open green spaces, plenty of room around the lodges. The hot tub area was totally private, the decking area out front looked out on a large green open space. The loungekitchen area was comfy and spacious. The bed was perfect, super king and the my wife loved the roll top bath in the bedroom. She now wants one at home so thanks a lot for that. Another DIY job put on the list hahaha. Nice dark skies so if you have one, take your telescope or binoculars. We knew about the road noise from a previous review, however this was never a problem outside or inside the lodge. We couldnt have wished for anything better.
Gareth
Wonderful lodge in a very secluded spot. One of the best lodges we've stayed at.
Christopher
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Beech Tree Lodge. Wonderful facilities with comfortable relaxing surroundings. The welcome pack was a lovely touch. Communication was fantastic with any issues quickly solved. Great location for visiting the coast, moors and City of York. Thank you.
Amanda
The lodge was nice and in a lovely quiet location but the couch in the lounge was a bit small and not very good for snuggling up watching a film. The cooker light wasnt working on the oven. The sink in the bathroom was difficult to lean over due to the wall cabinet above being in the way. Either the cabinet needs to be smaller or the sink needs to be bigger. Few areas of water damage visible on the ceiling in the bedroom need touched up. Also the bedroom would benefit from a tv in there. Also it would have been nice if the owner had told us about the major roadworks going on resulting in a 30 minute diversion to get to the property when they messaged to ask our arrival time.
Fantastic place to stay. Very clean and very homely. Everything that you would need when staying away from home. The only downside is the traffic it starts around 630 in the morning and busy through the rush hour periods If you can live with it then youre on a winner If noise is a problem step away as you wont be happy
We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Beech Tree Lodge. We arrived a little earlier than planned, but the welcome was warm and friendly. The lodge itself is well equipped and very comfortable could do with some oven gloves though, unless we just didn't find them. The bed is huge and very comfortable. The hot tub is very private, and we found it easy to get into and out of unlike some others we have encountered. Stamford Bridge is a lovely place to stay handy for York and the east cost resorts. We'll be back!
William
A wonderful stay. Perfect. Thank you.
The lodge was very clean and spacious with everything that we needed. The welcome pack was a nice surprise. We had some lovely days out at York, Whitby and Bridlington, then back to a nice soak in the private hot tub. The bed was huge and comfortable with the added bonus of a bath in the room. Would definitely go back. Mark and claire
We absolutely loved Beech tree Lodge. It was spaced nicely away from other lodges and it felt really private. The Lodge was lovely inside and had everything we needed. The hot tub was perfect and made for a very relaxing stay. We would definitely stay again!
Richard
Had a wonderful stay over Christmas lovely place to relax
The lodge was beautiful. Extremely spacious and well kept. Becky was lovely and helped us with any troubles or questions we had during our stay. It was perfect for what we were looking for and I would highly recommend this lodge to anyone. All expectations and rules were clearly explained to us for our stay.
Michael
This is our 2nd visit to this lodge, we highly recommend for a peaceful holiday the lodge was immaculate and having the Chinese , Indian & a pub near by is ideal for going out for tea. Lovely to hear the owl outside, sadly we never seen him. Definitely be booking for next year Thankyou.
A real home from home, loved the lodge had everything you could need. The hot tub was great,it really made us unwind. The whole area felt safe, and was bariered off from the outside world. Plenty to do round the area, national air museum is a must, and plenty of farm shops for you to peruse. Will definitely book again, thanks Becky and family eleven out of ten.
A very nice lodge in a beautiful setting and very private we would recommend it to anyone.
Hilary
Really enjoyed our stay at Beech Tree Lodge. Everything we needed was provided, for a great stay here. Thank you

Dorothy
The welcome pack was a very nice and thoughtful gesture. The lodge was beautiful very comfortable bed and wonderful hot tub.
Sharon
Gorgeous lodge, not too far away from local shops. Becky was lovely and had provided little hamper on arrival. Hot tub was amazing and lodge was spotless. Already looking to booking again! If you dont mind a little drive out, visit Cannon Hall farm, bridlington animal park get groupon voucher to meet meerkats is a must and forbidden corner.
Hollie
Our stay was absolutely amazing. We were greeted really well and the lodge is absolutely perfect and so clean. The hot tub is a lovely little luxury. It was so peaceful and relaxing, with lots of greenery and trees around. The local area had lots of lovely little shops and pubs and York is a short bus ride away and is amazing. I would most definitely recommend and I will certainly be going back again!
A lovely rural retreat, very comfortable and furnished to a high standard. Perfect location for York, seaside and many other local attractions. We have loved our time at Beech Tree Lodge.
Absolutely dream location stunning property great facilities really welcoming definitely a must to stay
Alison
Absolutely perfect place. Everything we needed was there. Welcome pack was very thoughtful. Absolutely no issues. Most comfortable bed ever slept in.
Superb accommodation, ideal for a relaxing stay, well situated, close to places ... Superb accommodation, ideal for a relaxing stay, well situated, close to places to eat, would wholeheartedly recommend a stay at beech tree lodge, the owners are lovely, friendly people, who are always at the end of the phone, if needed, the welcome pack was a lovely surprise, and the hot tub was secluded and a lovely addition, 1010 cant fault it,
Lovely comfortable chalet with plenty of open space around it. The quality of furniture is excellent. We would recommend this chalet, the only point we would raise is the closeness to the A166 Bridlington road, the noise from the traffic is quite loud but the chalet is well hidden from view by bushes and trees so privacy is not an issue.
Again a lovely stay, we can't fault anything and it's so well equipped. Will be looking to come for a third time next year as it fits all of our needs. Table near jacuzzi needs attention, just an observation, well done to all involved.
Beautiful lodge couldnt fault a thing, lovely big bed, the hot tub was brilliant. Thanks. Wayne & Clare
Nathan
The lodge was absolutely perfect, in a lovely private location. The owners were lovely. The hot tub was pristine. Weve been on two holiday this year and both of the hot tubs were such a let down but beech tree lodges hot tub was amazing. Everything was spot on. Will definitely recommend and will definitely be staying again sometime
Claire
We have stayed in many lodges but is by far the best one yet due to simply how beautiful it was & absolutely spotless. We wouldnt have changed a changed a single thing. Only came home yesterday and already looking at dates to return. LOVED IT
Stayed for anniversary weekend. The lodge was beautiful and spotless! My partner absolute loved the bath in the middle of the room! The bed was the best bed we have ever stayed in when away best 2 nights sleep Ive had in ages! The lodge had everything needed for our weekend and the hamper basket was beautiful! The host was lovely when meeting upon arrival. Hot tub was wicked kept its heat and we loved this after a long day of shopping in York. York was only 15 minuets from this location so was perfect for a weekend away! Only downside we could say about this place was the hot tub didnt have a cover. This would be a great added feature to this place but definitely will be returning. Thank you for a great stay
Beech tree lodge was a beautiful getaway in peaceful, private surroundings, would highly recommend for couples who want a lovely retreat.
We really enjoyed our stay in the lodge, it was clean, welcoming and private, very relaxing. The only thing that I can make a negative comment on is the mattress on the bed, you can feel the springs. All it needs is a topper, we needed a new quilt for home so bought one and put it on top of the mattress and it was fine. After saying that I have M.E. so my muscles are sensitive to any pressure.
The lodge is well equipped and tastefully decorated with gorgeous wooden furniture. If you are planning to go in the winter the lodge is well heated and insulated. The grounds are spacious and well kept. The hot tub is lovely and a nice addition. Owners are very friendly and helpful.
Michael
We had a wonderful holiday the lodge was amazing, very pleased will definitely return thankyou.
Looked for a relaxing and chilled space and definitely found it! Well stocked with items with everything you could ever need. So tranquil and in lots of space creating that privacy you rarely find. Stamford bridge itself caters for all needs food wise with all but the candlestick maker! Hot tub, Eutopia. Yep, booked again already. Many thanks, a real gem.
Kathryn
The lodge has everything you need. Lovely place to relax and chill.
Relaxing break in Beach Tree Lodge. Lodge is spacious, clean and private. Hot tub was an added bonus! Great location with shops nearby. Would certainly recommend!
Kathryn
