Boscarne Reviews

Andrew
A true 10 person property, plenty of space and bathrooms, lovely views, attentive landlord, if you do the sums for ten adults it's as cheap as a premier inn per night per person, everything thought of,all the pots and pans you need to sort Xmas Dinner. Excellent
Debbie
Wow wow wow what an amazing property. Truly stunning and all our needs taken care of. Incredible home done to an exceptionally high specification. Every detail was covered. Fit and healthy then walking to town is no issue what so ever, if not so then the local taxi firm is again incredibly helpful, friendly and so so reasonably priced. Amazing place and will so so be back. Thank you for a dream family holiday we loved every moment of it. Xxx

Great property facilities and position. Could perhaps do with shelf in the ensuitebathroom and a large doormat inside the backdoor, to stop dragging sand into the house, BUT minimal complaints really, just being picky! Had a great holiday there with the family and would definitley go back.

The property was beautiful and the setting stunning. My main problem was the check in time was 6pm to allow for the hot tub to be filled with clean water. The leaving time was 10am to allow for this as well. However a man came in unannounced on on leaving day at 8.45 am to empty the hot tub which considering the amount you are paying for the place is a bit cheeky and rude. in theory we should have had the place until 10am
We spent our Easter holiday at Boscarne. The house is clean and tidy, new and well maintained. They supplied everything you needed plenty of towels, toiletries, washing stuffs, The owner lady was very helpful. Only one minus thing, theres no microwave so its abit difficult for us to warm up the foods. We felt very comfortable there and had a great time. Highly recommended!
We had a wonderful holiday at Boscarne. When we arrived the house was immaculately clean, and lovely and warm. The beautiful views of the sea from the living room and 1st floor bedrooms were stunning. We particularly enjoyed the log burner, the hot tub, and watching movies on the projector in the evenings. Being able to walk into the centre of St Ives in 10 minutes meant the property was brilliantly located. I cannot fault the property, its perfect for a coastal holiday in Cornwall.
Brilliant accommodation, easy to book with timely communications from Sykes! Fabulous time we will return
Anthony
Great location, inside of the property as described clean, tidy, and well presented, external does need some upkeep though along with the garden furniture as this lets the properties appearance down.
The house itself is lovely, and its position overlooking the sea is very nice. However, for the money we paid, I didnt expect the outdoor furniture to be so shabby. The long wooden table and chairs have certainly seen better days, and the garish plastic chairs lacked cushions, we couldnt find any. Indoors I did Id not expect to find chipped glasses and crockery , I also thought that a few pictures on the walls would have given it a warmer feeling , but realise that is a personal choice.
The location, size and view from this property were excellent. The owners were extremely helpful and we couldn't have asked for more. Sykes have been very helpful and supportive throughout the covid lockdown when we had to keep changing the dates due to lockdown restrictions. Thank you.
Lovely house and location for a family holiday
Fantastic property, great location and lovely and clean couldn't have asked for more!
Property had everything we needed and more to give us a fabulous base for the week. Liz, our host, was on hand to meet and greet when we arrived and was available for help & advise during our stay. There was plenty of room for 5 couples to relax and not feel on top of each other. St Ives is a great location and there was enough to keep us all occupied...surfing, paddleboarding, kayaking, great eateries & the Minack Theatre was well worth the visit...but do take layers if you go! Overall a great week...well worth the 400 mile drive...would love to return.
What a beautiful house, perfect for the two families, with plenty of space for the children and adults. The location is perfect, a short walk into town and the beaches, the views are amazing, perfect for enjoying when eating or having a drink outside. Internally the house has everything you need and more. The extra additions, the icing on the cake projector screen, hot tub, Netflix certainly added to the overall experience. We will be back!
Nicola
Boscarne is a fantastic house, in a great location only a short 15 minutes to a number of beaches although a hilly walk back up! . Liz was a fantastic host, ringing in advance to check how we wanted the bedrooms arranged and greeting us on arrival. St. Ives is amazing and we'll definitely be back!
As a family of 6 adults and 2 young children Boscarne was perfect for us. It was very well equipped toys and games also. The luxury of having a hot tub was the icing on the cake! The location was lovely as we overlooked the sea and only a short hilly walk to the beach and town. It was our first time to Cornwall and we were so pleased with everything that we plan to go back.
Elizabeth
The property exceeded our expectations. Great views, excellent facilities, ideal for a large group. The hot tub was a great extra and the house really well stocked with everything you needed e.g. washing up liquid, cling film & foil etc...
